I went to Coal and Cotton twice within two weeks, first time with husband and sister in law, was atclynch time, so not too noisy, as it was lunch time. The atmosphere was quite but still lovely so you could talk. Went the second week with a friend for tea in the evening, was alot busier but still not too busy, so it was still a lovely atmosphere. The food is always lovely, I just think the main potions don't have to be so large. The only thing I was gutted was I forgot to use my loyalty card, I just think it would be a good idea if a member of staff could ask if you have a loyalty card.

I visited the coal and cotton today and wanted to share my experience. Upon arriving the staff were very welcoming. I asked for a table for two as I was meeting a friend for lunch , The staff member told me there was no availability right now but if I didn’t mind waiting a table will be available in 45mins . I said that was ok . It wasn’t 45 mins it was only 15 mins we were waiting. The staff took our order for drinks and didn’t rush us for our food order. The atmosphere was relaxed and the decor was very festive, nice and modern. Even the outside space was decorated very festive with blankets and fires available to use . We both ordered lamb shanks and they were cooked to perfection it was a very nice meal and enjoyable experience I would recommend it to anyone.

Only been two times but I already love this place, the staff are amazing and so friendly and the service is unbelievable. The food and the drinks are unreal.. I’ve even been to one of the poshest steakhouses in town and coal and cottons steak beats it by miles. I’ll definitely be back soon and probably many more times after that’s for sure.

Amazing place. Food is beautiful, taste & presentation. Great for eating in or out, could stay here all day and relax. Highly recommend the BBQ breakfasts and the salad bowl with chargrilled chicken. My friend ordered the beer battered cod & chips, it was huge. Toilets are kept really clean too.

Hi guys What a beautiful set up ..the staff are all so friendly & welcoming. The food we had houmous flat bread and garlic dough sticks with garlic butter wow amazing ..main course we had the 2 x 2 3oz burger patties on a pretzel bun with skin on fries & coleslaw absolutely georgous......my husband had chargrilled chicken burger with lettuce, tomato on a pretzel bun with coleslaw and skin fries ...firstly the chicken was in 2 pieces but to thick,it was a bit tastless and had a lemon flavouring which there was no mention on the menu which spoilt it for my husband he hates lemon...but everything was presented really nicely would I go back most definitely .
