   Food allergies are not taken seriously! At no point did any of the staff ask if anyone had a food allergy, but knowing I have a severe allergy to cocoa I checked the menu and at no point did the apple pie indicate it would contain cocoa. When my apple pie arrived it was sprinkled with cocoa so I explained my allergy and asked to send the it back, the waiter rolled his eyes and said we only put it on for decoration and no apology was offered. Not having any confidence that I would get a fresh apple pie with no cocoa I requested to change to a different dessert, the waiter then left our table and entered into dialogue with the manager / owner in full view of our table, this made me feel uncomfortable. I appreciate my food allergy is very unusual, but to not take it seriously and make me feel like I'm making a fuss for no reason is not appropriate.

   Me and my husband found this please on Google maps because we wanted to go out for dinner and not cook at home. We live only 10 mins away but never knew that there was another Italian restaurant close by. Just want to say how shocked we were, the food was amazing we had mussels as a starter for the main we had carbonara and salmon pasta (not sure what the exact name was) and desserts panaccota and crème brûlée. We really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere, staff was amazing too. Food was bought out on time. We definitely will be back with friends and family. Thank you

   Was not amused when we initially arrived and a staff member made a phone call after asking how many of us were there... we were seated after the call. Waited a while for someone to take our order, but it was worth the wait. The food was lovely and hot and the staff thereafter became attentive. Overall lovely place. Will defo be back

   My heart felt thanks to Valentino, Marco, Rita and the whole team at Lugana for hosting my 60th Birthday, a night never to be forgotten. Fantastic food, amazing service and attention. Family is everything and Lugana is the only place for it.
