Yet again another lovely meal enjoyed. Its not just the meal we enjoy but the warm welcome we always receive from a certain member of staff everytime we attend. *Courtney* provides the best service possible always goes the extra mile to help us if we do ever have an issues. Always happy and smiley. So would like to take the time to thank you for today and other days we have attended Hope to see you again keeping up the good work like normal. Also would like to thank the team aswell

What a great little find, lovely atmosphere, super helpful and approachable staff. This charming pub on the canal offers an unbelievable value for money lunch menu Mon-Fri 1200-1700 with pub classics starting from £6.95. We thought the plates were a perfect lunch size, however for the super hungry traveller you may want to order from the normal menu. Service was great and our waitress super friendly and accommodating. If you have any four legged ‘furmily’ members this place is a go to, offering a doggy menu…..you can even buy your pooch a tennis ball or dinner bowl!?! Will definitely be returning. Great family pub 10/10

Had a first rate lunch here this afternoon. Not been to the Moorings for years. The staff were friendly and helpful the food was really good and very reasonably priced. Better range of food the the Boathouse and much easier to park (with the warning). Best of all the pub is dog friendly We will definitely go again.

So enjoyed this our first visit and far exceeded our expectations- easy and free to park by simple registering your vehicle at the console by the bar. Spacious, well lit, beautifully set out with windows offering views of the canal basin ,its boats and nice canal walks in both directions. Friendly and very welcoming staff. Plenty of tables inside and on the terraces outside. Lovely atmosphere and ambiance and includes historic photos of canal and boating life. Dog and child/ family friendly. Usy on our mid lunchtime mid week visitGreat selection on menu and reasonable prices and such delicious food ( great coffee too) Will certainly visit again soon and likely do so regularly from hence. Thanks to all the staff for making our visit a marvellous experience . I'd highly recom end this lovely pub restaurant.

Lovely pub with great views. Very helpful staff answering questions and sorting things out for me. Think her name is Rebecca. Have been here many times and always enjoyed my time here. Staff are lovely. Great views of the passing barges on the canal. Good food and drinks. Definitely recommend and will be returning.

Mixed grill was nice. The Sausage was over cooked and re heated I believe. Seafood duo. Prawns where really bland. No seasoning new potatoes where microwaved to death. Salad was past its best. Beautiful scenery just a little more attention to details and it could be a give star place

Quiet chilled relaxing, no bother. Food was scrumptious. Chicken and mushroom pie yum. Lamb shank melted in my mouth. Plenty of outdoor seating with an amazing view of the canal. Great after lunch walking routes. Dog friendly.
