Leaving a 1 star as it won't allow me to do less, food was awful, ribs were dry and full of fat. Chicken was chewy, salt and pepper chips dried up. Waste of money
Been using Jade Garden for years ordered chicken fried rice, chips and curry sauce last night and this morning have been constantly in and out of the toilet without going in to too much detail exploding, not used them for a while and don't know if it's changed owners or not but won't be using again now....I'm hoping it's a 24 hour thing but I can't be too far from the toilet at the moment. Chicken was very bland as well they have definitely gone downhill!!
Ordered and paid online and gave 45 minute notice for pickup time. Still not ready, but worth the wait. Chicken Fried Rice was excellent, and the portions of chips and curry sauce were top notch. Clearly, the chips were freshly cooked. Lady serving seemed a bit abrupt, but this is typically Chinese. At a shade over £10, and considering the portion size, this was good value. I've just moved nearby, so I'll sample some more dishes.
Used this place for over twenty years . It used to by far the best in the area . Sad to say its gone down hill , portions aren't the same prices have risen around 18 percent recently. Ordered my favorite special fried rice it used to come with nice slices of pork and chicken , nice bits of beef and even a fried egg on top . Not anymore very poor now . Sorry guys I like to support local business but you need to up your game .
It must of changed ownership as it has gone right down hill recently smaller portions and bigger prices and tastes awful
Ordered a £55 food order at 7:09pm, waited an hour and a half and it still hadn’t been delivered.I Rang up and the lady on the phone was so rude , groaning down the phone saying “oh my god I’m so busy”. I’m assuming my order hadn’t even been started yet. When I asked how much longer, she replied “10 minutes I don’t know , half an hour” which got followed by more groaning and shouting at other staff members. I sat patiently and said “hello are you there” and I got replied to with a “bye bye” and the phone got put down on me. Completely unprofessional and rude. I cannot believe this level of inconsideratness. I chose this business to place my nearly £60 order with , I know to take it elsewhere next time. Will never be going back here even though we have used this Chinese for almost 10 years. So rude, do not give your money to this company. Thank god I clicked pay with cash and not pre paid with card.
My food arrived early and piping hot. The delivery man was so polite. I live in flats and had come downstairs to collect, he told me next time I don't need to come down and he would bring it to my door which I thought was lovely. I love the food from here, always full of flavour and tasty. The portions are really big too. If your looking for great food then I would definitely recommend. Thanks jade garden.
