   Not ordered for a while so ordered fish and chips can't complain about the fish yet... but the chips tasted like cardboard like they had been reheated several times hence to say wasted yuk I will not be ordering again and will stick to the number 1 chippy of irlam on ferry hill never had a bad meal from there the great wok was not so great I definitely will not be ordering again from here.

   Got salt and pepper spare ribs that were well overcooked and dry . Very disappointed. The king prawn curry and egg fried was just ok . I wouldn't order from here again

   Duck is dry and bland, sauce it comes with is not the normal soy sauce you get with duck. The cucumber and spring onion were dry and warm! Duck pancakes were dry and cold. Spring rolls and Duck spring rolls were bland. Salt and pepper ribs were nice and tasty, chicken, chips and curry were nice. All in all not worth £42, sorry to say I will not be back. Delivery, tax and plastic bag tax on a bill of £42 is greed, other local takeaways have no charge when ordering a certain amount. The Great Wok is no longer great, which is unfortunate, food used to be really good.

   I have never had a bad meal from here but tonight it was horrible. The noodles were slimy. The soup was like water and had about 3 pieces of sweetcorn in. Everything else was greasy. Have they changed the chef????

   I am so disappointed, my first order from here. The food wasn't great at all. Firstly we ordered beef chow mein, it was just soft noodles, beef in a oyster sauce. It was far too wet. It was something I could have done better myself if I got myself a stir fry kit from the supermarket. The prawn toast tasted like it was just chicken with no prawns. The batter on the salt and pepper chicken wings were appalling, it was hard as rock and tasteless. This is my first time ordering a Chinese in this area and I guess it was an unlucky dip that I chose this place. I will not order again and do not recommend.
