   We ordered a takeaway for my son's birthday recently from Aozora Sushi. The sushi was delicious! The ingredients used were fresh and the portion size was generous. My husband ordered the chicken Katsu curry which he said was the best he'd ever eaten. I ordered the seafood rice. Mussels were a bit overcooked unfortunately but overall it was really tasty. It was delivered within half an hour too so not too long to wait for food freshly made. Would definitely order from here again.

   The best sushi I’ve had. So much variety of ingredients and flavours, the rice is cooked perfectly and the fish is very fresh. The portion sizes are large and the chef is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are great. This was our second time coming and we will definitely be coming many more times. Highly highly recommend!!

   Great effort on the flavours and presentation of the sushi and food, but there were some minor elements lacking. Sushi rice was perfectly cooked, but there was often too much rice or it was too packed together. Sashimi was still partially frozen when served and they ran out of sea bass on an item we ordered but only let us know after we had ordered. Chef came and personally apologised, which was very much appreciated. Katsu was good but overcooked and the sauce was too runny so it had drenched the rice and katsu instantly. The sauce also used frozen mixed vegetables which is disappointing for a restaurant. Inside the restaurant was wayyyy too loud. Lots of screaming and shouting from the tables.

   Very tasty food, excellent sushi and presentation. Loved the teapot and jasmine tea. Chef was very friendly, and very knowledgeable about ingredients. Very fresh tasting. Best wasabi I have ever had! Best restaurant in hornchurch for me. Lovely teapot as well.

   Sushi comparable to what you get in central london. So glad that Aozora opened up a second branch in Hornchurch, and it’s equally good as compared to the Elm Park branch! Food is fresh and good value for money. Don’t be fooled by the simple interior, it’s well worth a try!

   Gorgeous, freshly made sushi. The sushi rice had a perfect consistency and the seafood toppings were quality. We also went for a tuna poke that was super fresh, varied and flavoursome. Good portion sizes and that saying "you pay for what you get" certainly rings true here. Top that all off with a very friendly (and competent) sushi chef. A most welcome addition to Hornchurch. Best of luck! UPDATE 14 Feb: just tried the chicken ramen. Stunning! Rich, gorgeous broth - one of the best I've ever had and rammed full of chicken, vegetable and noodles.
