Had a wonderful experience at Chit N Chat, Rusholme. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, full of authentic flavours, and clearly made with care. Every dish was well-prepared and satisfying, making it a perfect spot for comfort food and casual dining. A special appreciation for Lalita, whose service truly stood out. She was polite, attentive, and very welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. Her friendly attitude and professionalism added a personal touch that doesn’t go unnoticed. Highly recommend Chit N Chat for both great food and excellent customer service. Will definitely be visiting again!

We had a wonderful experience at this Indian restaurant. The food was delicious, well-prepared, and full of authentic flavors. What really stood out was the service—Prasanna was extremely friendly, attentive, and professional. Prasanna took the time to clearly explain the menu, suggested great dishes based on our preferences, and made sure everything was served promptly and with care. The food presentation was excellent, and every dish arrived hot and fresh. Overall, great hospitality, amazing service, and tasty food. Thanks to Prasanna for making our dining experience so enjoyable. Highly recommend this place!

Visited this place solely because of the Google reviews and left disappointed. We were seated and immediately handed the menu, then told the breakfast menu would close in a few minutes. The staff member stood there waiting, not even giving us a couple of minutes to decide, which felt quite rushed for a Sunday morning. The breakfast itself tasted okay, though the portions weren’t great—but at least the food was served hot. The chai, however, wasn’t karak at all and was overloaded with sugar. If you decide to visit, do yourself a favour and request the sugar separately. Will I ever visit again: Never and would not recommend unfortunately

Amazing street food! Must tries chicken kothu, chilli paneer, chicken noodles, momo’s and pav bhaji Delicious chaat, generous portions, and really friendly staff. Great value for money – a must-visit in Rusholme.

Chit Chaat offers a bright, modern take on Indian street food with strong flavours, a friendly atmosphere, and solid service. It’s particularly well-regarded for chaats, cocktails, and accommodating dietary needs. However, occasional inconsistencies—especially with takeaway or peak-time service—are worth bearing in mind. Overall, it’s celebrated as a hidden gem in Barnet with a vibrant, shareable dining experience.

Excellent quality and variety of authentic Indian street food. Service is quick and efficient with a smile. I’ve been here a couple of times now and was so impressed by the delicious food with a great depth and complexity of flavour that I brought my family along on the last visit who also enjoyed their visit. I highly recommend you speak to the staff if you’re unsure what to order. They have a very good knowledge of the dishes they serve and won’t hesitate to make recommendations and tweaks to the order.

Amazing experience! Not only was the food tasty and unique (making it more than worth the price), the manager/owner (unfortunately did not get their name) was very accommodating! To our experience, it is rare that restaurants put much care towards our allergies (i.e., severe nut allergy) and often our concerns are dismissed, leaving us uncomfortable with eating in the restaurant. However, the manager went above and beyond to ensure that our allergies were properly addressed, checked all the labels and ingredients, and proceeded to tell us which menu items were safe. As a result, we had a very enjoyable and comfortable experience (of course with the EpiPen still ready to go). We highly recommend this place especially if you worry about allergies like us! 10 stars!

First time visited and ordered Samosa chat, Pav bhaji, Bombay grilled sandwich, Lachcha paratha those are excellent taste. Gobi manchurian is Ok only and we have mentioned low soya sauce but still lots of sauce and big size Gobi which we didn’t liked much. Finally on desert Gulab jamun is great and Karak chai is divine and don’t miss that. It is the best place for friends and family together.. Compact place and cute tiny plates.. Friendly staffs and fast service even in peak hour.

Went here for a family dinner. At first it didn't give authentic street food feel. Until it started getting served. The food, the taste, the appearance, the smell, everything was fresh. It tasted beautiful. Full of flavours. The dosa definitely hit the spot. And so did everything else. Friendly staff who recommends only the items suiting your palate. Had a good time here. Will definitely visit again.
