The food was a real let down, it was full of oil - that much that it seeped through the trays and spilled out of the bag. The curries itself didn’t taste great, I’ve still got a horrible taste of oil in my mouth which is not nice. The service was great, they were very nice but the food was not good at all.
The BEST chicken tikka masala (takeaway) ever! No grease! Full of flavour, nice chunks of chicken meat. WELL DONE GUYS, my new favourite takeaway
Our family has been going here once a week for 25+ years (seriously). By far the best Indian food in the North West, if not the country. We have never found anything that comes close in terms of taste, portion sizes and price. Here's to another 25 years!

Ordered takeaway and was not disappointed! Lamb was tender and curries delicious. I couldn't believe how quick the piping hot food arrived as well, will definitely be ordering from here again.
I got a Chicken Tikka Massala and a Peshwari Naan and it was AMAZING. I go as far as saying it was one of my favourite ever. Great prices, great quality food and really friendly staff. My new go to takeaway!
Best takeaway curry I’ve had in Manchester, have had about 4 curry dishes from here and each time has been excellent. A lot of places you find can be slightly oily or bland but this has been spot on every time, would highly recommend - I now go nowhere else for a curry
Probley the best curry takeaway in Manchester!! Absolutely delicious curry’s, hot and fresh. Chips are crispy and hot, and the poppadoms and so nice! The mango chutney is so nice too! Literally everything we have ordered so far has been absolutely delicious thank you British raj!
BANG ON! Ordered via JustEat. One of the best Indian restaurant I have tried in my life. The food was so so tasty! I had to call the restaurant to enquire about something and they have been really helpful too. 100% recommended. I had Onion Bhaji, king prawns korma, keema bhuna and naan (one garlic). Food arrived on time and piping hot.
Brilliant Indian. The curries are really tasty, particularly like the Rojan Josh. They also do a lovely fresh peshwari naan which a lot get wrong. I don’t think that many people are aware of this place as it is tucked away a bit out of the main Withington/Didsbury drags but it is easily as good as any of their curry houses and I’d say better in terms of taste, value, portion size and the punctuality of getting the order quickly. Thank you very much British Raj for your excellence.
