Food as take away was mouldy in several occasions. On 3 occasions the rice was old and used, as in the plane rice had dried crusty food like it was scraped off someone’s plate int he back … After telling them today they shouted at me in front of the customers saying I’m trying to make lies but yet it’s happened so many times. I’ve been in there before where people have walked back in to say their chicken burgers still frozen ! Foods nice when it’s actually fresh but it seems to be less and less. Eating in was mostly ok, but then whenever I got a takeaway I was always done over. There’s obviously a reason why all the other Abdul’s have shut down. Go to saajans in rusholme, miles better and tastes the same and they don’t treat you like shit if the foods wrong.

Truly enjoyed this place, any kebab shop where the boss man says “for you my friend free” when giving you a sauce or drink is the sort of place you’re wanting to be. Good size portions on offer and really good quality lamb. Not sure what the complaints about the service are for, this is how kebab shops are meant to be. Really enjoyed it in a Bourdainian sense, super authentic. Prices could be better but that’s the same for everywhere just now.

Absolutely the worst place I’ve ever dealt with. The owner is downright rude and arrogant, with zero sense of customer service. I gave this place more than 8 chances, hoping it would improve, but it only got worse. The hygiene is below any acceptable standard , filthy and careless. And unless you specifically demand fresh food, they’ll shamelessly hand you whatever leftovers they have lying around from the previous day. That’s not just lazy, it’s disgusting. The attitude here shows they don’t care about customers at all. If you value basic respect, hygiene, and fresh food, avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of better options where the owners actually respect the people keeping them in business.

Had a lovely homemade chicken kebab with an onion bhaji, served with a delicious yogurt sauce. Authentic homemade meal served by kind staff in a lovely clean restaurant. Really enjoyed my food here and will be back next time I'm in Manchester! Thankyou Abdul's! :)

Do yourself a favour and don’t even touch their food with a 6 foot pole let alone eat it. I made the worst decision in my life today ordering from Abdul’s after craving a donner kebab. In return I received ridiculously tiny portions of food for the price I paid, on top of that the salad was not fresh it was minimum several days old. As soon as I started eating the food it was the most horrible bland tasting donner kebab I have ever had. The meat itself was chewy and had greenish coloured fat everywhere as if they butchered a stray animal from the streets to make this meat. To add insult to injury there was a hair on my naan bread. Disgusting madarch0ds ruined my whole evening!

Same as it was 10+ years ago, which is no bad thing. South Asian type kebabs, spicier than the Turkish/Schwama/Middle eastern type and one of the best around for this type of food. There are better in Rusholme, but they are £3-4 more expensive. Nice crunchy and fresh salad. Sad to see them decline from multiple branches to just this one and I don't understand why as the food is much better than the majority of kebab shops.

Just has a near miss with a horrendous delivery... Ordered 4 kebabs each with lamb seik & the inside was completely raw! Smallest kebabs we've ever had & nearly £9ea! Check my photos.... Could have killed us!!

Wasn't sure what to expect as it had been 10years+ since I last went to an Abduls. Walking in I wasn't expecting the best - the guy behind the till didn't even have the manners to return my greeting. I ordered a mixed kebab (chicken tikka and lamb seekh) with chips, total cost approx £8.60, and to be fair the food wasn't bad at all. The kebabs were well cooked, and flavoursome, and the chicken wasn't raw as in some other places. All in all, a decent meal although I can't help imaging it would not be the same if we'd taken it home or had home delivery. They had plenty of seating so we sat inside (no sign of any Covid cleaning after each customer) and there seemed to be a funny yoghurty sort of smell in the air. Parking is also awkward as it's on a main road, although plenty available in side streets. A decent place (a couple of friendly lads we met in there said they regularly visit all the way from Liverpool), recommended and will visit again.
