If you want to get a decent curry Order from these guys for the first time 5 days a go and just put my 2nd order in, best rogan josh iv tasted , food is absolutely top draw. 10/10
For a curry between £12-£16 each you'd expect them to taste nice and be authentic however the 3 different curry's (bhuna, jalfrezi and madras) we ordered tasted exactly the same. They were the exact same curry. On top of this the chicken was rubbery and dry and all 3 curry's were so spicy they were inedible. They went straight in the bin. Same with the chicken pakora.
Was by far and away the best Indian food in North Manchester, and better than most in South Manchester where I used to live, They've changed owners recently I think and now menu too, best Lamb Saag I've ever had, gone, best ever onion bhajis gone. Devastated. I need a new curry home...

Had taken a few years sabatical from the Shethu but decided to retry last night. Have to say it was delicious. The sauces here have alway been fantastic and last night didn't disappoint. We had popadoms, onion bhaji, chicken tikka korma, lamb rogan josh, lamb dansak and tandoori chicken with rice and chapati. Price was excellent too. I'll be back very soon. Well done guys.
Used to go here regularly 17 years ago. Stopped today on our way through the Manchester area and ordered a takeaway. Same owner and they were just as efficient and friendly. The food was delicious, just a good as ever. The poppodums were a little thin (still good) but the onion bhajis were lovely. Overall good curries and an accolade that they are still as good all these years on. Thank you
