Food is tasty But please please reduce the amount of oil you add to the food. Or at least ask customers if they want to have less oil in there food.

Ordered a takeaway was very expensive for what you got. The massala chips where tiny French fries in some kind of weird tasting sauce. The curry I got was nice bit the lamb pieces where tiny. For 11.99 for a takeaway curry was very expensive the keema rice was nice, the pashwari naan didn't really taste of anything.

Whilst the food is good I don't like my family and I being ripped off - Christmas or not. Went Xmas eve, booked a number of days in advance and also had a confirmation of booking call an hour before arriving. Family of 6 adults and 2 children, ordered as usual, nothing bought to our attention (when booking, reconfirming, orderjng or delivering of food). Asked how many poppadoms we wanted, ordered no problem, took our starter and main orders (one couple only ordering a main between them), 3 lots of rice and 3 naan breads and 1 portion of chips (children had ate prior to arrival but we ordered drinks for them and popadoms and they were having parts of parent's meal). Not offered dessert and when we received the bill it worked out £35 per head for food alone and said "set menu x 6" on bill (minus drinks) - I questioned this and the waiter said "I told you set menu when ordering", he was quite rude and most definitely had not told us that there was a set menu price - all 6 agreed. If it was a set menu, why were we not bought dessert/coffee or least offered, why were there not 6 mains, 6 rice, 6 naans bought out?! Waiter was having none of it and was very, very rude. I have since looked on their website, Facebook, etc and there's not one mention of a set menu cost for Xmas eve, despite offering tables. Last Christmas day dinner was £35ph for example! Look, I wouldn't mind, had we been made aware but feel like customers were taken advantage of and made to pay in excess of £30 extra a couple (even if we had ordered every course - given the opportunity) - it is pure GREED and I most certainly won't visit again (we WERE regular customers). There are other Indian restaurants nearby who don't take the p&%£.

Honestly the best sit down curry I've had in a long time, can't fault it everything was fresh and tasty. The staff are very friendly and helpful and a decent selection of drink to choose from. The green chutney that comes with the poppadoms is so good and spicy. Definitely be returning again. Hats of to this restaurant.

This is a 4.7 star review. A real taste of Indian cookery and cuisine. Very good Vegan and vegetarian selection with a range of gluten free dishes. I initially reviewed this restaurant after ordering a takeaway several times. My experience was positive, the food was delivered in a reasonable time frame, it was hot, fresh and tasty. The staff on the phone were very knowledge on the menu and paid special attention when they knew I was ordering vegan food. I have since been to Rama spice on a number of occasions to eat in the restaurant. The restaurant is easily accessible off a Main road and next to a train station. It does have a small number of parking spaces next to the building but they are often taken, this is not really an issue as the train station has a large car park (I think they are intended for rail users but I have never had an issue parking there) The restaurant is clean, toilets are clean and the decor is good. It is equipped with a bar and small waiting area. The bar is well stocked with beers, IPA, ciders, spirits, wine, cocktails and mocktails. The Restaurant has a 5 star hygiene rating (at time of review) The food is brilliant and fresh with a wide choice of dishes. They have pleanty of Vegan and vegetarian dishes. My personal favourite is the the chana masala (chickpeas) and I ask for it hot despite being advertised as a hot dish as hot is subject. The samosa chaat starter is also a delight and I recommend this starter. On my last visit I had Cobra small batch IPA which was a nice change and a nice pint. They do sell cobra larger too which is my usual choice and always a good pint. I once tried a house red wine but I wasn't too keen on it. The staff are friendly and polite, the experience of the chef really comes through in the dishes I have tried. The pricing is probably slightly higher then some other local indian restaurants but you really do get what you pay for and I think its reasonable for the quality and service. Overall a great place and if your in to Indian food then I would recommend this place.

Visited this place on a Wednesday evening (for our reserved table). Unfortunately the table wasn't ready and we had to wait for a good 15 mins atleast to be seated. In the meantime I could not notice any Covid19 related measures, except for table distances (we were told that the place operated @50% capacity, which obviously wasn't true). No staff was wearing face covering and none of the patrons were seen using the handsanitizer. This put us off and we just ordered starters. As soon as we sat to order one waiting executive told us to order quickly as the kitchen is closing. Upon insisting for full order at once we just told the person that we've just got in and should be allowed sufficient time to go through starters atleast. To which he reluctantly agreed. We then just ordered starters (panipuri, samosa chat & aloo tikki). All 3 were a major disappointment , aloo tikki was the typical store bought frozen item, similarly the samosa chat had its samosa cold. The pani puri was frankly bland. We didn't bother to order anything else and simply left. The taste is definitely not authentic.

Really good food! Recommended by my family in the area, I really enjoyed the food here. Been to a few places locally in Bolton and this is my new fav! Dishes all have distinctive flavours and the service is also good. It's not the cheapest place to eat in Bolton and unfortunately some of the portion sizes could be better (especially the starters). Size and price aside, the food is really nice and well worth a visit!
