Food is poor. The chips are cold. They microwaved the pie in front of me and the sausage was over cooked making it very tough to cut. The lady was on the phone while serving me. I will definitely won’t be returning

I come here every week without a doubt and I 100% recommend you take your whole family here the staff is absolutely wonderful and kind the portions are very reasonable so are the prices the fish was absolutely tasty one of the best fish and chips I've had in a long long time it was a bit busy but the food was still hot and so tasty as I said take your whole family here its absolutely wonderful.

I went to Mile Oak Fish Bar in Tamworth, and honestly the food was amazing. The fish was really crispy but not greasy, and the chips tasted fresh, not like the usual soggy ones you get from some places. The portion sizes were actually decent too, so you don’t feel like you’ve been ripped off. The staff were friendly and served everything pretty quickly, which was good because it was quite busy. Overall, I’d definitely go back again because it’s probably one of the best chippies I’ve had in a while.

Food was very poor. Fish tasted off although was very hot. Only had two bites and threw in the bin. Kebab would have been ok had it actually been warm so was very disappointed. I won’t be a returning customer unfortunately

Very clean shop , really fresh food , (fresh oil used too) Since it's been taken over, it's a new chip shop. Lovely owners. The food is great quality. I had fish chips and curry sauce , Fish is very chunky, doesn't crumble, but splits into big flakes. Very tasty too. The chips were good chunky chips from good quality potatoes, no bad bits, and the curry sauce was beautiful. But for me, the best bit was that there was no smell of old used oil. Everything was very crisp and fresh. And the shop is so clean ,it sparkles. The family who run this are lovely too. Very friendly and cannot do enough for you. I visited once before , just after they took over and had the most amazing cheesecake. It wasn't cheap but was sooo worth it. I don't know if they still do it. Well worth a detour to try this chippy ❀️❀️❀️

I bought 2 mini fish specials today for myself and my wife, We were not impressed, The chips were under cooked and hard in the middle. The first time I've had al dente chips. I would not recommend.

I love this place. The staff are always lovely and if they don't have what you want in the heater they'll cook it fresh. Prices are good and there's enough parking right outside.
