   We visited recently for the early bird menu . Starters were lovely . I ordered the cannelloni which initially looked OK, but however as I got closer to the middle of the dish was concerned as the meat looked pink. I told the waitress who took it back to the kitchen and returned with it , telling me that the 3 chefs had inspected it and it was the sauce that had coloured the meat , also that it had been cooked for 9 hours . The waitress was apologetic and offered me a dish to take out ( my friend had finished their meal ) I declined as I felt a bit off after sampling what looked like raw meat in parts . They didn’t charge for the dish but I would rather have paid and enjoyed it . Staff were attentive , nice atmosphere , good starters so hopefully it was a one off .

   What a fantastic meal we had, staff very attentive and looked after us really well. Menu had lots of choices, atmosphere brilliant infact the restaurant was packed with diners so you know it's a good place to eat. Will definitely book again and very soon.

   Great place for a Birthday dinner! We visited at the weekend for a Birthday dinner. The restaurant was mostly people visiting for Birthday celebrations and it was very busy, so please make sure you book in advance to avoid disappointment! All of the starters we had were delicious and the pasta I had was amazing! I absolutely recommend the pasta - I've never had a pasta that good before! The staff were all really good and very helpful with menu choices. Definitely worth a visit!

   We visited this restaurant for the first time tonight…absolutely amazing food. Couldn’t fault a thing the food was delicious… amazing service too thank you Anna, Nelly & Matty. Also brilliantly ran restaurant by the manager. We will be back soon :)

   My favourite restaurant ever, and I’ve been to many. Not a single bad choice on the menu. Portions are great. Beautiful interior, ambience is wonderful. Waiters are lovely, and recognise us every time because we return so often. Come as soon as you can.

   I cannot recommend this Italian restaurant enough... Service was exceptional, friendly staff, food was outstanding. The only Italian restaurant I have dined at where I actually felt I was in Italy. It was my mums birthday and every single member of staff made it very special... I will most certainly be returning... Thank you Il Vecchio
