Wow, what an evening at this fine restaurant… I am fully aware, that when dining in an establishment where you can see a train platform from the window seating, that I am not exactly booked into an evening of Michelin Star dining. However, when dining at Carluccio’s, I felt as if I was parked at a rough McDonalds drive through, asking them to prepare their finest table for the evening. I have never experienced a dining experience quite like this, however this is the comparison, as never experiencing a festival experience as the Fyre Festival. The food was absolutely diabolical. I think that this experience was the equivalent of staying in a Travelodge hotel, when the previous guest has left their remains in the toilet. I felt completely cheated, abused and embarrassed to have paid for the meal at Carluccio’s. I would advise any potential diner, to evaluate their decision and dine at a much finer restaurant, and book themselves into the opposite Burger King for their finest Whopper. What a sad little life Carluccio’s, do us all a favour, and pack it in for the poor remaining, lifeless restaurants you still run.

Worst takeway carbonara we ever had. Didn’t expect this to be so bad unfortunately :(

Walked in on a Wednesday evening and it was dark and half empty. Quite a few dirty tables left uncleared for god knows how long. Ignored by staff when we walked in, trying to find a clean table ourselves then the male staff walked passed just to tell us to wait elsewhere in a passive aggressive manner. Clearly wasn’t interested in serving us so we did go for dinner elsewhere as he wished. Will never return. Management - your staff seem to be acting against you on purpose

The lack of service and manners from both waiting staff this evening was very disappointing. For the whole 10min I was sat down, I was not served or properly acknowledged by either server. They took other peoples drink and food orders and served their drinks but would not approach me at all. The male server made eye contact with me multiple times but still ignored me and when I tried catching his attention he just walked away abd stayed in the back. Not what I needed after a long day, was really disappointing service. This was on the 29th at 5:30.

Very good place to eat some food before catching the train. The quality of the food is excellent but the portions are very small. Service is pretty fast and efficient.

Had an amazing 5th dating anniversary dinner. The food was great and the service was super quick. A pleasant surprise was a gift of a box of chocolates :) We'll be coming again

Lovely service but don’t know how to make porridge. Nice coffee but the porridge was just oats and warm milk, not really cooked properly. It’s not that difficult after all.

I love railway stations and a railway station with an excellent Carluccio's is extremely hard to beat. I had to break a journey in Manchester Piccadilly at lunch time and what better way to do that than have a lunch in Carluccio's. It was busy, which is a good sign, it had plenty of space, which is also good and table service so one didn't have to juggle bags and trays. The menu had plenty of choice for all tastes. Service was quick, but no feeling that the food had been prepared somewhere else and just reheated. This was done on site. Portions were generous, hit and very tasty. The mushroom soup was superb!! and worth a visit just for that. I spent my weekend looking forward to a rematch but trains being trains, this was not to be. Superb experience for me.

I nipped into Carluccio's in between meetings. I needed something quick that wasn't too heavy. Service was quick and exactly what I would expect from Carluccio's. I had glass of red and the antipasti plate. Both were delicious and I was in and out in 40 minutes. Reasonably priced as well. I will be going back when I have more time to spend.

Great value for money and on most parts the meal was perfect! The home-made lasagne was excellent, and the rosemary/seasoned potatoes had a nice flavour to them - very soft as well. However, the ravioli (vegetarian) was very disappointing with barely any taste/filling to it apart from cheese and some spinach. The sauce was not very saucy either just felt quite watery! Staff were very friendly and polite though, and nice vibe at the restaurant! Also got 25% student discount which is great!!
