   Giovanni’s in Knutsford is an absolute gem. From the moment you walk in, you’re made to feel genuinely welcome, and the atmosphere is warm, relaxed, and authentically Italian. The food is outstanding – fresh ingredients, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. You can really taste the care and passion behind every dish, from the starters to the mains. The pizza and pasta are both excellent, easily some of the best in the area. Service is friendly, attentive, and never rushed, which makes the whole experience even better. Whether you’re going for a casual meal or a special occasion, Giovanni’s delivers every time. Highly recommended – we’ll definitely be back.

   Had a meal yesterday afternoon and despite being quiet, the service was appalling. Had to ask to order drinks, had to ask for sides ( not offered when the food order taken ) and the waiter had no idea which items on the menu were GF. As my daughter has an intolerance this is essential we know prior to ordering food. The main courses were lukewarm. I wouldn’t go again as this is the second time this has happened in as many trips. Definitely wouldn’t recommend.

   I came here for my birthday with my brother and his wife. I really enjoyed it. The food and service was great. I ordered the 2 course special of deep fried squid and whitebait then the veal scallops with rice. Also the surprise slice of cake and the staff singing for my bday was a nice touch.

   We had the sardine starter between us, fabulous and just enough. I had the linguini seafood and John had the white fish & seafood broth. Both excellent dishes and again portion sizes where just right. Bottle of Sicilian white wine went really well with it. Service was excellent and they even had a balloon on the table as it was for a birthday.

   A lovely dinner with great service and delicious food. The restaurant had a great vibe. The service was very good (although I think the waiters need to be given sections, we had 4 or 5 different waiters all cross over each other, asking the same things). The food was delicious, great portions and fresh ingredients. Definitely recommend.
