Tried this for the 1st time last night. Me & my partner were really impressed the food tasted really good, full of flavour. Was steaming hot. Reasonably priced. Also was nice to have an Asian takeaway without it tasting the same as all the other Asian takeaways. Worth a try I reckon.
Ordered on uber eats. I will say portions are big and price point is cheap. However, the food isn’t tasty at all. The noodles I ordered were chicken but a very strong shrimp paste taste and both types of noodles ordered were very sugary… not a nice sweet taste either. Very strange and I was unable eat it. Never have seen noodles done this way so be weary. The chilli chips were nice. I hate leaving negative reviews but we were very hungry and left starving & disappointed and £50 down.
The food is delicious, the portions are massive, they have a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options, in conclusion, im definitely coming back or ordering from them. The only thing to mention is they could improve the deco and atmosphere.
I've had the opportunity to try nearly everything on the menu over the years and confidently say that the food provided is of the highest quality, whether eat in or take away. The staff and super friendly and cater to all our needs when we dine in. The food, especially anything of the 'Firecracker' name is extremely delicious (but bear in mind the Firecracker noodles/rice is probably the most spiciest on the menu). I can't get enough of the chicken Gao Bao buns and even now, my mouth is watering thinking of it! Highly recommend!
We absolutely love the food at Katsu Shoku. Great delivery service, always fast, food is fresh, hot and full of flavour. Portions are great too. Our fav are the meat buns, so yum!
Really impressed with the food and the service. I rung to ask if they could do a special order for my young daughter and they were very accommodating. Food arrived quickly, got and well packed. Katsu curry was the best I've ever had. I will definitely be ordering from here again.
For the first time I placed an order on Uber eats and tried this takeaway as the reviews were very good. I had 2 vegetables spring rolls and ginger tiger prawns with rice and it was very filling. The food was great and well cooked and I am satisfied with the food.
By far the best takeaway I have ordered since moving to this area. The Thai green curry was flavoursome and and every ingredient was cooked to perfection. The crunch of the panko squid rings was pure heaven and the Korean barbecue chicken wings to die for. A must try try. Highly recommended.
Last minute I decided to order from here over a week ago via Ubereats while working late. I was a little hesitant since restaurant staff were the ones to deliver the food so there was no way of tracking their journey to determine how long they would be - especially towards closing time. Boy was I wrong! I live close to the restaurant and have lived here 7 years - how did I not know about this place?? The delivery arrived during the ETA time on the Ubereats app. The packaging and portion sizes (Panko squid rings, crispy wings, sticky chilli chips and tempura prawn sushi maki) were pretty impressive as you can see from the images I took. I ended up shoving work aside to pay my undivided attention to the food. I will definitely be ordering here again and also look forward to dining in soon - thank you Katsu Shoku!
