First time ordering from here and very happy! The jerk chicken was delicious with just the right amount of heat for my taste, and there was plenty of rice and peas too. Oxtail was also very nice and the side of fried plantain was great, not at all greasy like some other places. Will be ordering again!
First time here and was amazing to say the least! Incredibly tasty food, would recommend the jerk chicken and curry goat! Fast service and a lovely family that work there. We are so blessed to have bought a house and have a Caribbean kitchen right by us! Brings us back to Jamaica… very happy and content :)
I ordered mutton soup and barbecue wings. The soup was watery and tgdtwap 1 dumpling and a couple of potatoes and tiny pieces of meat. The wings couldn't be eaten due to them being that so dry and tough I couldn't bite into them. It seems that now they are making money that quality doesn't count. Don't buy from here as you will be disappointed and have wasted your money
I ordered the snapper with rice and peas. It was so delicious! Friendly customer service. And the food was freshly made and served in good timing. I had saved 1/3 of my meal for the next day, but I ended up eating the whole thing 2 hours later lol. Loved the cabbage too, so good and well seasoned. Will definitely go back again.
I don’t normally leave reviews but it was my first time trying this place. And I loved every bit. Authentic flavour (like true home cooked Caribbean food) and the portions were surprisingly great some places can be so stingy. Enough plantain to satisfy, enough hard food to satisfy, enough rice & peas & enough oxtail to satisfy. Thankyou!
Hi I recently ordered large snapper with Rice. I'm sorry to say I was gutted it was small fish and it was hard I had to throw it away as I couldn't chew on it. Dumpling was missing . Only rice was nice ,definitely was not worth the money . It spoilt my lunch time ,I did not enjoy at all I will not be ordering from this takeaway again. Snapper was really small I can't believe when I saw the size and even my work colleagues was gutted too.
Tried here for first time today, mutton was succulent, sometimes when I’ve ordered mutton elsewhere it’s been tough & chewy but this was the opposite. I had coleslaw with this as well but it’s not in the picture. Will definitely order again.
