Had a family Sunday carvery today 26/10.There were 5 adults and we all really enjoyed it. Plenty of meat and a good selection of vegetables. Price not too bad. Definitely be going again.
The bar staff are great especially Charlotte she is very smiley, bubbly and attentive. She’s got a tendency to make people feel like there at home. The carvery food is beautiful love the Chinese element twist to it and the lady yola who service the meat is very happy, welcoming, loverly person. She is always laughing and smiling and serves a delicious cottage pie!!!! This is become are regular Sunday due to these two people and the food. Also the price is really good for what you get. Had a table for 23 people, very good food, service was brilliant. Very good for accommodating a big party. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, rachael was our waitress very polite and helpful who made my mom's birthday very special. Will definitely be coming back xx
First time visit today and definitely won’t be the last either - friend and I both had carvery dinners plus desserts which we ended up bringing home with us anyway as were full from the dinners, plenty of meat(we had all 4)and good selection of vegetables too(I was pleased to see cabbage and cauliflower there)and lovely thick gravy as well. Several customers highly recommend it to us as well which was nice-chef/server was a lovely pleasant person as well and a shout out to Natasha/Tash as well who served us and checked that everything was ok as well, also very friendly pleasant person as well. Will definitely be coming back again thank you, Charon+Sue xx
Great food all fresh and VERY WARM. Hard to find a carvery where the food is very hot. Good serving of meat too. Lovely staff, my mother is disabled and the chef helped her with her plate also, this goes a long way. Thank you keep up the good food and service.
Always have a fantastic choice of meat and vegetables and you can also have cottage pie which is delicious. Staff always seem happy and helpful. Will keep going back for more.
This pub is on the main road (hill top) it has it's own car park for quite a few cars. Inside a bar, dining room, party room and Carvery room. Nice clean atmosphere friendly staff, Chinese eat-in and take away. Kids menu available. Carvery has four types of meat and boiled vegetables, mash and gravy. Very delicious must try.
Was nice, not too expensive. The vegetables were nice but a little bit crunchy, the gravy was nice and there was a good selection of meat. The tables were a little cramped, we could hear every part of the conversations going on around us which a little bit distracting but it was very busy when we arrived.
Just moved into the area and had to try this out. I did pick a busy day but the food was fantastic. Quick service and piping hot Carvery, much better than other places I’ve been to. Lots of families here which to me shows it’s a popular place with the locals.
