We stopped by yesterday and they accomodated a group of 11 without a booking. We actually got an area that was closed to ourselves - food was great, pricing very fair. 100% recommend and will return.
This place it's genuinely 5 star! The food was awesome the staff were great and the decor and atmosphere was amazing. We dropped in after a quick Google search for somewhere to eat on the way home from an event at Harrogate and so glad we did and would make the trip back great!

Called in on the way to York for a bit of brunch...Food was really good.Stafff attentive and lovely laid back athmosphere..Slight mishap with a lipstick stained coffee cup...Only reason for the 4 stars but would highly recommend it for a call in.
Food was lovely and beautifully presented with plenty of meat free options, good coffee. Fairly small portion sizes. Service was very slow, and people who arrived after received their food before us.

Food mediocre and came with chutney missing, staff uninterested one young man bordering on rude. Atmosphere good, nice clientele. Decor cozy. Value poor considering the ‘service’ we received. Third and last time I will eat there.
A pub we have visited for drinks on quiet a fiew occasion. Today staff were occupied posting images of decorations in preparation for the up coming 6 Nations rugby. I had half a peroni which had a strange taste my husband agreed on tasting. My next drink I got a different larger and informed the staff the peroni wasn’t tasting correctly . The girl said they would take a look. No apology. I sat down . A male bar man eventually half filled a pint , drank down in one then back to his phone . That was the end of the assessment. It’s unfortunate ,it just makes you feel that there is a lack of interest in the product and customer
So glad its reopened after covid. Was lovely to sit out side with a drink. Had some amazing food from here too especially via delivery. The veggie burger was amazing! Pizzas are pretty good too! Lovely place for a drink! Set in a lovely village.
