Fantastic Indian.The food is amazing & the staff are very friendly.We've never had to wait long to be served. It's cash only but thats fine with us.You can take your own alcohol but they sell soft drinks if preferred.

Had a great meal here other night. I was really busy, so I had to wait a bit, but that's to be expected. It was worth the wait. the food was beautiful. You can take your own beer too, which I like. Cheers
We visited this restaurant and it served us really great food . We bought the meal for 2 which is great value. The food was hot and tasty and quite enough for 2 adults. The service let it down as the waiters never asked if you needed any drinks and never used their manners but I'm a stickler for please and thank you. I would definitely call again as the food made up for the lack of enthusiasm and manners of the waiters
Called in for a takeaway to top up some home cooking did not get the advertised discount shame have been using the restaurant since they opened
Friendly owners and staff. Easy to find, parking outside, can cater for children and disabled. Broad menu, caters to most tastes. Dishes always freshly cooked and hot. Prompt service, waiters know the menu but will check if not sure. Bring your own alcohol, no corkage. Soft drinks available. Very enjoyable and filling meal. We believe it's the best curry restaurant in York.
