Unfortunately we didn't have a great experience. We chose Ollie's due to it being independent and the GF and DF options which is needed for my wife. I ordered a bacon sarnie with extra sausage and a fried egg, which cost Β£15.30. (I was asked if I wanted one sausage or two. I went for two, not realising it was Β£3 per sausage!) What arrived was disappointing for the amount that was paid. I had one rasher of streaky bacon per half sandwich. (Picture attached) I asked the waiter if I'd have just ordered a bacon sarnie, would it have come with such a small amount of bacon? He said he would check in a moment as he was just clearing up empty tables. Great customer service! A while later someone different did come and check what the issue was, and said my sandwich had been put through the till wrong. No apology though. I'm unsure if this was correct or just an excuse, as my receipt was how the order should be. (Picture attached) However they did eventually refund my breakfast and apologise after I'd said that I'm happy to pay more for good food, but I don't like being ripped off, which is what had happened. My wife did say her food was pleasant, but very small for the cost. As I said at the start of my review, we chose Ollie's due to my wife's GF and DF requirements. When I ordered her breakfast I asked for no dairy on the toast, which I was told this would be ok, and a note would be made on the order. Half an hour after eating my wife knew she had eaten dairy. After looking at my receipt, there is no mention that the food needs to be dairy free. All other notes such as GF bread, Oat milk, hot chocolate to be mexican were on there. Luckily it is not a life or death allergy, but a stomach intolerance. It's a shame as we were really looking forward to a good breakfast, unfortunately Ollie's did not deliver, and left me hungry and my wife feeling rather ill.

Lovely food, excellent service and a great little place to eat at. Coffee tastes delicious and the pancakes are outstanding - fluffy, full of flavour and just the right size - definitely not short with serving size.

Lovely little bistro, freshly made food and drinks. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. Always a lovely brunch or burger when we pop in

Down in Birmingham for the weekend and we popped into Ollie's for a bite to eat. I had the goat cheese & chilli jam toastie on gluten free bread and my sister had poached egg on toast with lashford sausages - absolutely delicious! Good portion sizes, very filling and quick service! Good drinks selection, I had a blood orange gin - yummy!! Beautiful atmosphere, really nicely decorated with seating downstairs, upstairs and outside! Also - and most importantly - dog friendly!! Although Fergus wasn't with us this time, definitely a great place to come! Good value for money, great service, would definitely recommend!

Whilst the food and coffee were tasty, the portion sizes were incredibly small and left us all dissatisfied and hungry. I honestly thought my pile of pancakes were the kids portion. The eggs Benedict was the smallest serving we had either seen with two tiny flattened English muffins sat in the middle of a massively empty plate. Overall poor value for money and not a good place if you’re hoping to have brunch.

Good menu and friendly staff. Popped in the other weekend to have some drinks with friends. Nice sitting area outside and weather was nice for it! Will definitely be back in the near future

Decided to try Ollie's Eatery - Bar in Bromsgrove for a spot of brunch. Loved the decor and the food and coffee were delicious! I had the pancake stack with Maple syrup and crispy bacon....mmmm....I was in foodie heaven! I'll definitely come back here, and shall one day try the evening menu. This is what Bromsgrove needs! Well done!
