Great food, great drinks, staff are amazing and can't do enough for you. Been coming here for years and it never disappoints. Quiet drinks or family events, always brilliant.
Our go to place for a meal been coming here for years. Never had a bad meal. Food is great, staff are friendly and service is great.
**UPDATE OCTOBER 2023** I've not been here for a few years but went back there this evening to order a takeaway, and as always very welcoming and friendly staff, Prices are slightly higher than any other Indian restaurant around the area but food was very nice. Next time I will be making a visit to eat in. ************************ Great food, reasonable prices, a good week day offer of 3 courses for £10.95 very friendly and polite staff, never had any complaints with the food, either with delivery or dining in. personally I think it's the best Indian restaurant in the area. Staff are always willing to go out of their way for you and nothing never seems to be too much bother. they don't keep pestering you either while you're eating. I come over a couple of minutes after your food has arrived at the table just to make sure everything is ok then they leave you to it they come back every now and again to see if you need anymore drinks. I've used this place for years, dining in and takeaways. I'll be using this place for many years to come.
Last week I ordered a mixed grill of £16+ ; the food was hot enough and good in taste but the delivery presentation was bad, expecting to be more professional in packing and serving . Thanks !
Ordered some food earlier tonight and arrived cold. I then rang them to inform them of my stone cold cold meal and was shouted at for it! The restaurant then insulated me calling me “horrible” and “disgusting” The cold food has happened more than once now. This place is a joke. If you want a warm, full belly I would highly advise you stay away from this place at all costs. There’s multiple other restaurants near this one.
We’ve ordered from here for the past 12 years and always recommend to others. So when they recently changed the chicken tikka masala it was very bland, watery, no taste and a different colour. So when I called to ask I spoke to a very helpfully gentleman who knew what I meant and for the next 3 orders he requested to chef it was cooked the old way which is far better. So when I called today someone else answered who didn’t understand what I meant put me on the phone to someone with broken English and basically told me to order from somewhere else. They were extremely rude and after 12 years of using this Indian it’s a very poor service. I understand ingredients/ recipes change and if they didn’t want to do it the old way there is a way of explaining. Definitely won’t be ordering or recommending anymore, I just hope the helpful gentleman reads this review
Made an order, asked for a REAL time delivery, ???? Told maximum time 1 hour 20 mins..... called to be told would be "about " another 20 minutes... Tried several times to explain that I had been told as above. To be hung up on. Then 10 mins later receive a call from Rowley village to be told "they had now cancelled my order!!!!!! Unbelievable how rude they were. I have used this place for many years. Spent minimum of £40 a time. Change of address... and they have now lost a regular customer. Unbelievable..... My recommendations of the past are now withdrawn....... Out of 10 are now below 0 zero......
Considering the history of this place they need to obtain new awards or remove the old ones as not winning one since 1998. Service good, nice pleasant people. My choice was a ginger special lamb curry with lemon rice, lamb was very good, other than that quite average. More stars? When you quote a special fusion as a special it should stick out as one of those meals but again quite average, not any taste of ginger or much else to be honest
