A very enjoyable meal with plenty of variety on the menu. The service team was polite and efficient, and the desserts were especially memorable. I’ll definitely return to try more dishes next time.
I visited on Saturday with my family, and wow — the food was out of this world. Every dish was bursting with flavour, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. You could tell that only the freshest ingredients are used, and every bite was a real delight. From the first taste to the last, it was pure perfection. Even though the restaurant was packed and there was a long queue, the staff handled everything efficiently and politely, making sure everyone was served on time. Mani and Carrie were especially impressive — friendly, organised, and professional, keeping the service smooth even during the busiest moments. The combination of amazing, flavour-packed food, fast and friendly service, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere made this one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. I can’t recommend Bobo Today’s Catch highly enough — we’ll definitely be coming back
I visited Bobo Today’s Catch with my family, and from the moment we walked in, we knew we were in for something special. The atmosphere was warm, clean, and inviting — the kind of place where you instantly feel comfortable. The restaurant had a lively yet relaxed vibe, perfect for a family meal. The food was exceptional. Every dish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and full of flavour. You could taste the quality in every bite. It’s easily some of the best seafood and takeaway-style food we’ve had in a long time. Portions were generous, the presentation was great, and everything came out piping hot. The customer service was truly outstanding. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel genuinely welcomed. A special mention has to go to Robin — he was incredibly sweet, polite, and had such a friendly way of speaking to us. His positive attitude and warm personality really stood out and made our visit feel even more enjoyable. It’s rare to find someone who makes such a genuine effort to ensure customers are happy. My family and I left really impressed and we will definitely be returning. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and even better service!!
Done with using this chip shop it’s gone completely down hill since new ownership chips are now just about ok a large cod is now less than a 1/4 of the size it used to be (thought I’d been served the trimmings) and batter is normally wet they don’t serve haddock any more but I draw the line when I find hair in my food. Don’t be fooled by comments to dissatisfied customers about how 400+ customers are happy the majority of those reviews were left for the previous owners who took pride in looking after their customers Bobbo giving up the shop was one of the worst things to happen to Blackheath
The restaurant has good access inside for wheelchair users or push chairs with a nice opening for customers. Clean tidy environment inside with table to eat and plenty to choose from on the menu. I first tried this place a few weeks back on a Sunday evening and they served some of the best chunky cod and chips. Having returned there a week or so ago for take out i got a rolled mass of congealed lumpy fish in a soggy chewy batter. Fish was not cod and was cold in the middle. When i called to complain i got nothing but a wooden response and simply there is nothing they can do. How about using some initiative and good customer service skills and correcting the issue to the CUSTOMERS SATISFACTION not your own. You tried it on, serving some random fish and saying it was cod hoping customers wouldn't notice the difference. You messed it up but couldn't own it. It would be easy enough to correct the complaint instantly but you would rather keep arguing and lose customers. It explains why this chippy is never busy when i have visited it.
Visited with my dad on 8/3/2023 & received the best service I’ve ever witnessed. Very friendly, kind staff who can’t do enough for you. I was fortunate to meet Bobbo himself, who makes you feel so welcome & the food is incredible. The chips are out of this world, they’re soooo tasty. Get yourselves down here now & see for yourself. My new favourite chip shop. Thanks guys :)
I went to Bobbo's last night for the first time, welcoming and friendly staff, very clean restaurant. I had fish, wrap and a kebab. The food was freshly cooked and was beautiful, generous portion sizes and value for money. I would highly recommend, kids enjoyed their meals. You could the steam coming off the food through the wrappers when we got home that's how fresh the food was. We will be back when we're in the area again.
Brilliant customer service and great quality, tasting food. Best range locally across the menu including pizza with special deals across fish and chips and pizza range. Went in about a week ago to order a kebab and fish and chips for the first time and was a very generous portion, quality meat and salad and really enjoyed their battered chips - although you can ask for fries/non-battered too. Would highly recommend!
New to the area. One of the best fish and chips i have had! fresh fish cooked for you and tasty chips. Owner very nice also! Will come back!
