I went in and thought they were closed as they had no food prepared (apart from chips) so I chose battered sausage and chips which I thought was quite expensive at £6.40. Looking at the massive board of specials I could have had the same with curry sauce in a tray for 10p extra but this wasn’t offered out to me. Although the sausage was cooked fresh it was served with lukewarm greasy chips. I then asked for a squirt of chilli sauce to which the server said that would be an extra 30p which I declined. He then started squirting vinegar (without asking) over the chips to which I said I only want salt. He didn’t even offer to replace them. Won’t be returning. In summary, an expensive greasy chip shop with a lack of customer service.

Had a battered sausage and chips special with curry sauce £6.50 so decent price. Chips were amazing as usual my favourite chips from any chippy I've ever been to. Sausage was also lovely batter was perfect! Curry was good

Had a lovely chicken kebab meat and chips as a lunch time surprise had a small portion but was more than enough. Chips cooked fresh to order and salad also fresh not like some you can get. Reasonable price with easy access and loads of parking will definitely be going back

Went for my first time the other day. The servers were empty, but the lady was quick to explain all food is cooked to order to ensure quality and freshness. Which requires customers a 5minuet wait. I was happy to do this. The cod was actually cod and the chips were delicious tbh I couldn't fault the food or service and definitely would recommend this establishment

First fish and chip place I tried in England and the food was delicious. It was easy to park and the wait wasn’t too long. I have to say though, it was also the most expensive place I went to even when compared to London.

Slow as hell service I could have caught the fish and cooked it faster what the hell, it’s lunch time and they don’t have anything cooked ready to serve. I’m the only customer in here omg and it’s taken that long, no apologies just wait never again go up the road they are way better and faster

Everything was cooked fresh. Good portion size for the large chips. Great customer service.

Fantastic fish and chips! The fish was thick, tasty and flaked into lovely juicy chunks and the chips were perfectly cooked. Me and my Dad used to live local, I now live in the Northwest and my Dad lives in Shrewsbury. We last frequented 15 years ago so it was a delightful trip down memory lane. The Best Fish and Chips we can remember having, we ate outside and complimented the staff accordingly. It was well worth the detour, when returning home from the NEC Classic Motor Show on Friday 11th November.

Quality chip shop! Slightly more than your average but worth it as they use beef dripping (instead of toxic seed oils) and the produce is very good. Plus place is super clean as well. Support local and pay cash especially with the times ahead. Only criticism is when i have ordered collection and came on the time agreed sometimes I’ve had to wait the same time as walking in
