   Im very sorry to have to be writing this, we had chips last night from here (30/6) and we was very disappointed. The chips were very hard and just not nice at all so unfortunately we will not be using this shop again. For the price you pay a chippy tea is not cheap anymore and to have to throw them away is even more frustrating

   The place is clean,with top quality products. The oil is always fresh and you don't get the bad taste of motor oil in your mouth.Crispy batter, lovely service. If you wait is because it's freshly cooked. 5 stars is underrating this place.

   Fish and Chips Halesowen is a fantastic takeaway restaurant that serves up delicious and fresh fish and chips. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable, making it great value for money. The restaurant itself is always clean and well-maintained, which is greatly appreciated.

   Well we're do I start.... I'll start by saying first of all I havent had a bad meal from here EVER... but I have always collected. But tonight was so vile it was unbelievable!! We order food adding up to roughly £40... but regardless I'm just more disappointed that I've gave them my money tonight. We asked for 3 boneless meals one with chips and one with scallop. But 2 out if 3 chickens was thighs also they were very dry in the middle. We also ordered pie and chips but the chips all seemed to be scrapped from the bottom off fryers also  they were that crispy it was unbelievable and oily it was revolting... Then I phoned them to complain to be greeted by a young girl that couldn't really help me (as i mentioned about the chicken i asked shouldnt i of had a curtasy phone call to be advised that what i paid for wouldnt be coming but she responded we are very busy) and then she started talking to im guessing the person in charge of that shift. Which was shouting I packed that order my self I know what's in there. So I asked if she would like me to take a photo and send it them as I AM NOT BEEN called a lier!! Then I get passed to another lady then was reading through my order which I also had infront of me that clearly said boneless. But she said no there's  2 chicken breast and 1 thigh so I yet again asked if she would like photos. But still was calling me a lier. So photos below do show lots of bones and alot of dry over cooked chicken. But then I get told the reason we got the thighs was because that was the only thing we had in the shop. So as I stated before about a curtesy call to ask if we was okay to have 2 thighs instead of 2 BONELESS breast. And then this lady said yes I should of gave you a call. If you bring them back then we will try and deal with it. Why would of want to eat after I have just been put off by the chicken and chips?

   Only had a scallop for a snack but it was lovely. The batter was the best I've eaten on a scallop. Lovely, fresh and hot. Spotless and bright. Certainly recommend

   £4 for a regular bag of chips and a small curry sauce. Very expensive for the portion size. Not really worth it in my opinion

   FISH & CHIPS AT THE SEASIDE ... you know you cant beat that !! Well found second best . Tasted just like that found a table opposite and really enjoyed !! We had a fish & chip meal which came nicely presented in a cardboard box with mushy peas and a can of drink and a trio on keebab meat in a pitta again same presentation with a drink . Food was fresh hot and really tasted good . Service was excellent with a smile from both ladies. Who recommend and definitely use again when in the area . Top of high street with seating near by to eat your takeaway & bins to throw your rubbish away ..
