Great pint of Guinness from here. Top service. Place has plenty of seating. Didn't try the food so unable to comment about this. Great service from the bar staff. Overall very good.

Ages since I've been in, lovely food great staff only spoiled by my mate having to send back 2 pints (different beers) as they smelt funny

A £15 meal was Birdseye fish fingers smashed into a wrap with chips. Genuinely better meals just down the road at McDonald's which is a shame as the previous restaurant before this pub was really nice.

We have just had a family meal 7 of us having been before however this isn't an experience I wish to repeat shocking poor quality minute steak being passed off as rump steak 10 50 for an Irish whisky thrown together at the bar and then to top it all off overcharge on a deal corrected reluctantly my advice pop in macdonalds forva99 p burger the meat is better quality

Quality venue. Function rooms. Gym. Swimming pool. Sauna. Steam room. Hotel rooms. Large car park. Good staff.

Sunday lunch is excellent value but the selection of vegetables was not as extensive as other local carveries, the Yorkshire puddings were hard, the cabbage was under-cooked and the gravy was watery. The meat was great and the girl carving it was an expert. There were no easily accessible toilets as there is some refurbishment work taking place at the moment so guests with limited mobility might want to wait before visiting and check that the regular toilets are back in use. They don't know how to do a liqueur coffee and, after accepting and taking the order, the waitress visited to say they don't do them??? That's funny for a hotel. They overcharged for a drink when we checked the bill (500ml Recorderlig cider for £13 stood out a bit) and also a 'Kids Eat Free' advert everywhere that the waitress said she hadn't seen before when we asked for the £7 to be taken off.
