   Went to castle view tonight orderd gammon chips pineapple egg and peas, egg came out snotty, sent it back and they didnt even give me a fresh meal they put a fresh egg back on my plate and the rest of my food was cold, then it got sent back for a fresh meal couldnt eat it, although the chef had been there for a year, i will go back but i will stick to my usual mac and cheese

   Went with the 3 kids, 5, 15 and 17. Prices were great. Food was great and was all eaten. Lady on the bar was very nice so she will be happy I have done a review… told you I would!

   It was lovely to see such a happy and welcoming team! Unfortunately, I can’t remember the name of one of the girls at the bar who served us, but Jess, Lydia, and a young girl from Dudley looked after our group of 12 brilliantly. Their service was faultless — friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food arrived lightning fast, and some of us enjoyed their meals , though it was a bit hit and miss. My Full Monty Grill had a few issues: the sausage and chicken were overcooked, and my steak, which I asked for rare, came out medium. I also asked for my egg to be flipped but it arrived overdone, other 3 steaks said the same issue, as these are served on griddle plate good to ask underdone .sweet potato fries with salmon grill was over fried . For dessert, the profiteroles came as two instead of three, but Jess sorted it immediately and without any fuss — excellent service again. The chocolate torte was a little dry, though. We didn’t complain, as the girls’ positive attitude and professionalism really overshadowed the flaws in the food. Would I come back for the food? Probably not. But for the service — absolutely yes!

   We had not booked, buts Nicole found us a table and looked after us all so well . Staff very friendly and food was lovely and very good value . Will definatly come back. Can't recommend the place enough and nicest Sunday lunch out that we have had in a long time .

   I’ve been to Castle View twice now and both visits were fantastic. Their Sunday roasts are absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked meat, crispy roast potatoes, and all the traditional trimmings done just right. The atmosphere is lovely and the service is friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a proper Sunday roast!

   We always come here and we Came here on Sunday with my 4 kids honestly you can't fault the food or service we ordered two big plate specials and my god they were big even the portions with the one normal sized meal and kids meals were very generous. I definitely recommend one of the best restaurants/ family pubs in the area and the staff are lovely can't do enough for you.

   My husband and I went out for a meal there last night. We haven’t visited this pub in years but will definitely be returning. Tables were spaced out so you’re not on top of each other, great service and lovely food - great portion sizes. We ended up sharing a pudding! We actually used our Tesco clubcard vouchers but we couldn’t believe how good the prices were! Quite fancy trying the breakfast menu on my next visit.

   Family friendly pub serving up good food, mostly. The fish and chips big plate was phenomenal. The burger wreath was disappointing. As you can see in the photo, the chicken slider is really disappointing. Just a small goujon in a dry bun.

   Massive pub with lovely food/drink at reasonable prices. Plenty of free car parking right outside. Service can be a bit slow at times though. The app is pretty temperamental and doesn't always want to work. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere and background music.
