Lovely food. Been using this chippy for nearly 40 years. Its the only plaice I'll eat battered fish from.
For some reason this place always hits the spot, it’s possible they use potato starch mix for their batter but it creates a perfect barrier for the item topped with salt and vinegar, moorish and the perfect jaw work out!
Served with his hands I don't even know they was washed, he then proceeded to pour vinegar on my fish and chips and he didnt ask me what I wanted on it. Scallops were greasy and full of oil barley any potato He also gave me excess batter skin which I didn't ask for
Foods disgusting, asked for a chicken kebab burger, got it warmed up out of a bag,, had scallops got them home opened them the whole bag was full of fat looked liked the fried them again from the day before
Not very good food, when the place was refurbished the food was great but now the food has gone down, fish never white and chips with black eyes left in
