   Had my birthday meal here a few weeks ago with my son. Nicely decorated inside with the toilets upstairs. Food we ordered was hot and delicious. Descently priced too. Well worth a visit. Enjoyed my visit.

   We haven't been here for a very long time and thought we would have a trip down memory lane. It's been a staple restaurant of Lye High Street's unlicensed balti scene and one of only a handful that is still in business. Sadly the area is no longer the magnet for curry lovers as it used to be. I didn't notice any changes to the dining room but my memory isn't great. The service was very good, friendly and attentive. The menu is pretty much your standard Bangladeshi offerings. The food was ok, although the sheekh kebab felt like it had been microwaved, and the chicken in a couple of the dishes was on the dry side, all else was good, generous portions and excellent sides, especially the chips. It was a pleasant night overall, the bill very reasonable with you being able to take your own alcohol.

   You know when you keep trying new places to find that one, the one you want to keep going back to? Well this is one of those places, not just those little things that make the difference but quite many big things too, you won’t be disappointed… I had Lemon & Coconut rice with saffron, lamb Parthia and the chips, freshly chopped potatoes and home style cooked…

   We have eaten here regularly for nearly 6 years but recently the food is twice the price, half the portion size and an hour's wait between courses. So sad.

   The food is excellent, freshly prepared authentic and delicious. The atmosphere is inviting and a beautiful aquarium. The only draw back is access for disabled people is not great a wheelchair user couldn't go.

   We popped for a quick curry as had a long day and didn't want to cook. The prawn puree starters were excellent and the two mains we had one lamb one chicken dish were nothing special but all ok. The naan was light and fluffy so overall will go again.

   Always have a great meal here but last 2 visits staff have not been so great. I don't expect over the top service but at least look like you want to be there!!! Asked to use a meerkat code (buy one get one free mains) but as our group was bigger than 6 they wouldn't honour it, saying only tables of up to 6 could use it. We didn't expect them to let us use the offer for the whole party and explained this as every little helps! Sadly it was a straight no. On the positive side the meals were good a bit of a wait for some side dishes, the spicy chips are worth the wait though!
