Awful place. Please avoid. Untrustworthy with your order and money. Their website takes online orders and payment but they don't deliver and deny receiving orders and payment. I have proof. Was given an order number and money was taken from my PayPal account. Have contacted PayPal and opened up a case. Luckily PayPal have refunded me but how unprofessional is this restaurant/takeaway, Jaipur Cottage in Clent, Stourbridge. The website is a scam, please do not give them your money !!

Absolute appalling service. Ordered online (through their own website/web address) order was accepted/paid for but then never turned up. Phoned to see where order was and was advised that they hadn't received an order, or accepted it, even with the order number that said it was paid, bank transaction along with a receipt to say this as well. contacted Jaipur and staff were rude, wouldn't listen to me, when I was trying to say it was ordered through their website and we paid extra for delivery, all he would say was it wasn't their website and you would have to contact them for a refund, nothing to do with us, and if you give me your order again, you can come down and collect but would have to pay for it all again! Had to call back as he actually put the phone down on me on one stage and then denied it!! and when I asked to speak to the manager, to which he replied "well I am the manager!" Rude, obnoxious and didn't care, My wife and family in the area have used Jaipur for over 10 years and this is how they treat their customers - but never again!

Very helpful and friendly staff. We didn't eat here (hence no stars marked for food and atmosphere) but got lost and the staff helped us to get an Uber which we were very grateful for. We will return for a meal another time as the food smelt delicious

Shocking, don’t waste your money. This place used be great, however went there last night and the food was awful, really bland and food was cold. The one member of staff was running round like a headless chicken, sweat was pouring from him, not a good advert for bringing out your food. Waited ages for a main. The restaurant was cold, lacked atmosphere and the drinks were served in cans no ice etc. The restaurant is dated and needs a good clean. I will not be returning. Real shame as it’s in a lovely setting.

Although the charm of this curry house initially draws you in – set in a quiet village and tucked inside an old, quirky building – the experience quickly went downhill. Unfortunately, the food itself was very poor. The curries were bland, watery, and completely lacking in flavour. Even the popadoms were overcooked. The service didn’t help either. The staff seemed confused and had little understanding of what we were asking for. Their presentation was sloppy, and the restaurant itself felt dirty, dusty, and unkempt. It was also noticeably cold inside, and the lack of music for much of the evening created an odd, uncomfortable atmosphere. We did think it strange that there were no other customers on a Friday night – and sadly, now we know why. A real shame, but we won’t be returning.

I have to give it a 1 star as we will never go back there the starter was tiny and waited an hour and half for it then waited an hour for the main and it wasn't worth the wait. Do not waste your money it's not what it used to be. They even charged us 5 pound more than what it cost. Check the other reviews. I dont normally complain and we did tell them how it was but he wasn't bothered

A small and welcoming restaurant with friendly staff. An interesting menu with good choice of seafood. The food was of excellent quality and not over priced. Definitely recommend.

Always a genuine friendly welcome and hospitality. Excellent service, shown to your table straight away and drinks provided. Excellent food and the boss/chef comes out to meet you to make sure everything is OK. Can't do enough for you. Thanks guys for letting us stay to watch the penalty shoot out!!!
