We ordered from here and we got southern fried chicken and it had a weird flavor and didnt taste right the chicken was also not fully cooked fully and had some verry red bits we didnt end up eating it
Always great service. Particularly comment for Kamal. We regularly visiton thursdays after swimming and Kamal always has a big smile and asks the girls how theyve got on. The chips are outstanding. Prices seem fair and reasonable same as portions! Extra batter bits always good! Youngest daughter wants F&C for her birthday meal!!! A side or seperate collection area for the delivery drivers would help the atmosphere and customer ordering area less crowded. Thanks!! 20+ year customer!!!
Never write reviews but omg this food had more oil than Saudi Arabia and Venezuela combined, that much grease I slipped eating it!! Big portion I got excited, also value for money but I won’t go back sorry. Feel sick :(
We ordered chips and Pizza, The chicken was nice, the chips and Pizza was soaked in grease. we didn't eat it. I'm not sure if it was because it was 9.30 at night. I have had nice food from here in the past. We thought we'd give them a try again.
Wouldn't recommend this chippy to anyone my food was stone cold had to warm it up which tasted vile!After spending £21 I received £6 disgraceful!
I have not been in this chippy for almost a year becasue the food is nasty, if its not cold it stale if its not stale it's undercooked. My husband came In tonight for our daughter he was by the counter a guy got served then a women came in after, they served her while ignoring my husband. This has to be one of the worst chip shops we have used, the staff talk to each other instead of serving thier customers. It's about time another chip opened in Sedgley maybe then we would get nice food.
Been to Tasty Plaice 6pm on Saturday night. Bought medium fish & chips. The batter on the fish wasn't cooked properly. It was white & soggy in places. The chips were almost cold & horrible tasting. We won't be using Tasty Plaice again. Be aware that carrier bags are 10p each. They are free in most chip shops.
Ordered first time, probably last time. Food was higher priced than most chip shops in the area, however food quality was below expectations. Chips were stale and cold, ordered at 8.05pm Saturday evening. Fish was not in my opinion a Large size, chippy by me in woodcross serve small fish that is the same as Tasty Plaice large size. Staff can see that food quality is not right but still serve it and charge full price. Sorry but would not recommend based on my experience tonight.
