I’m not even one to order online let alone leave a review. People the food sweet yf! It bad bad bad !! Wolverhampton don’t have many good yard food shops but this is definitely coming for the big names!
2 of my items were missing from my order, fried dumplings were not fresh and the curry goat was way too salty on the plus side the sky juice was 10/10
Ordered on Uber eats food was fresh and hot can't fault them will defo be back!
After picking food at 10:02 pm. I got to work and the food smelt rotten. I rang them a few times and no answer. I drove back and got there at 10: 16pm to speak to them about it. They were already shut. The smell came from the meat. It smelt like the meat had gone off, or an order than has been rejected all day.
Ordered chicken soup for my partner. When I got home with it my partner started complaining about the smell and taste. When I tasted it the chicken was gone off and the soup tasted off. I rang and told them to taste the soup and they apologised offering me free food. My partner ended up with food poisoning and had to go hospital 4 days later
I've always liked the food from here. But they called me the other day after I ordered on ubereats telling me they had no fried chicken. After telling them multiple times that I only wanted what I ordered and that I didn't want to let them keep my money and come in another time to get it (I mean seriously who does that) they told me I'd have to cancel through the app. I told them this was not possible but they said they couldn't cancel either. So I called uberats and told them the restaurant said they couldn't fulfil the order and it would need to be cancelled. The ubereats employee then called the restaurant to confirm this and the restaurant then told them this wasn't true and that they could fulfil the order. The rep then told me that if I wanted to cancel I'd have to pay so I obviously said no. Then, for the next hour there was a loop of multiple drivers turning up to the restaurant and eventually being turned away. Ultimately, the order was cancelled by ubereats and my money was returned with no thanks to the restaurant.
FIREEEEE Mr b is extremely welcoming Best food ever, freshly cooked, severed & packaged amazing. Definitely a weekly go to food now.
Walked in on Saturday early evening and was pleasantly pleased with friendliness and cleanliness. Ordered food to take home - two large meals (fried chicken, rice and peas and salt fish, rice and peas, dumplings and plantain). Food was delicious and good portion size. We will be returning!
Exceptional service and food. I found out about the place on Friday and went back a further 3 days. The owner is set to become one of the best Jamaican restaurants in Wolverhampton; their food is authentic in taste ; great value for money and well portioned. Well done to you all. Keep up the good work!
The food is authentic Jamaican flavour and cuisine. The curry goat is one of my favourite dishes the menu is the best of JA. Will be buy again and again and again.
