   Ordered delivery and it was on time and hot. The chips could’ve been better as they were hard and didn’t seem freshly cooked but the meat and salad was lovely in my kebab. Portions were also great.

   Food was not the best at all and very expensive. Took ages to get served and staff just leaving glass doors open so food goes cold. Kebab had no sauce on even though was asked twice. Savaloy burnt at ends and a wierd colour, not nice taste at all. Fish greasy and thick batter. Very disappointing. Good curry sauce.

   I stopped by Wollaston Fish Bar for lunch and I was really impressed! The food was fresh, served quickly and absolutely delicious.The service was excellent-friendly and delivered with a smile. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for high-quality food with a great service. I’ll definitely be back!

   I had a fantastic experience at the local chippy last night. The staff looked lovely, were clearly enjoying themselves, and had great fun with their customers. Even while working hard, they delivered friendly service, and the food was absolutely delicious! Exactly what I needed on a Tuesday evening. Thank you Wollaston Fish Bar I’ll be see you again shorty!

   We decided to treat ourselves and have a kebab, salad and chips and a cod box meal with curry sauce a total of £19.70 and in my opinion an easy order. Two more orders were placed by a couple and a young girl after us. Strangely the later orders were handed over to these people before ours and when I asked where ours was, I was told yours is ready now and a bag was hurriedly passed over to us. I didn't think this was acceptable and was told that it was a member of staff's first night! We live just down road from chippy and when we got home the kebab meat was as cold as salad, batter on cod was thick and soggy, chips not good, so our treat was a waste of money. I believe in supporting local businesses as times are tough and a lot aren't surviving however customers need better value for money and service or they will just stop going.

   What has happened to this place, was always 5 star for me before. Ordered mini cod in breadcrumbs as a value box meal. More breadcrumbs than fish and overcooked almost to the point of being burnt, had to throw it away. Expensive delivery charge for just over a mile. Will be avoiding for a while. Disappointed, used to be a great chippy

   Order by phone on online so you don’t have to wait. They are very popular so you can expect to wait unless you pre order particularly on a weekend. Super helpful over the phone and a great service. Recommended

   Worst fish and chips I have ever had. Fish very dry and seemed like it had been reheated. Ordered lightly battered for my wife but came with the same amount of batter than mine and hardly any fish. Would not return.

   The portion that we have just paid nearly £10 for is tiny. This is supposed be a large fish and large chips. They also taste like they have been reheated and are supposed to be battered . We usually go somewhere else but went here out of convenience. We won't be returning unfortunately.
