First time trying this restaurant this evening. Very impressed with the food. Absolutely lovely. I called the restaurant after to let them know how much we'd enjoyed it. We will be regularly ordering from them in future.

My order has just come. Barely warm, bag covered in grease leaked out of containers all over other food chip bag portion soaked in grease. Chips stone cold. Baltis were taste less and chicken not very nice and huge chunks that you could hardly cut threw. Most of it just gone straight in bin. Nan bread was cold as well. You shouldn't have to warm food up when you paid over £30 for a meal for two. This restaurant used to be lovely and have eaten inside many times hence the two stars otherwise would have given it a 1.

We ate inside the restaurant, the one waiter that served us made us feel unwelcome and as though we were an inconvenience. The section (near the toilets) is cluttered (a dresser with cloths and plates on it, looks messy). There was also an upside down sofa in the toilet corridor?! Very odd! Doesn't give the best impression. The music was a bit loud, a small issue but worth noting. We couldn't fault our food to be honest, it was very tasty. We didnt have to wait too long and it all tasted fresh. You are allowed to bring your own drinks (soft and alcoholic). The waiter made a very rude comment when collecting our plates. He started advising one of our party how many times a week they should be eating a particular kind of dish, as it was very fatty and unhealthy. Not something you should be saying to a paying customer who is self conscious of their weight! Recommend getting a takeaway, rather than eating in. But to be perfectly honest, the poor customer service has put us off both now.

Simply superb! I've been a regular for over 5 years. I LOVE curry and Mak and the team always delight. Try the tandoori chicken and mushroom jalfrazi! It's not on the menu but don't let that stop you!!! Open for take away at the moment (and they deliver too!).

Haven't visited for some time and decided to try the Red Forte again. Arrived and restaurant was extremely busy so we thought we might have a bit of a wait but service was spot on. Food was amazing although one small let down was the coconut rice. Tasted like half a bag of sugar had been emptied onto it!! Otherwise an excellent meal at a brilliant price with friendly quick service. Will definitely return
