Food is ok but prices in here are ridiculous for the area it’s situated in and far too expensive yesterday I paid £5.50 for just donner meat there’s no small medium or large option. Service is ok friendly but prices are off putting and personally I think there are so many better chip shops available in Wolverhampton especially tettenhall
The food is always fresh, the staff are always going above and beyond. Prices are brilliant considering the high quality food and service they provide. Thank you King Cod as you’ve made Friday chippy night the best experience for the last 6 years, not only for me but my wife and children too!
Used here quite a few times now. Food absolutely lovely. The masala fish is amazing and the chips are really nice. Good portions. Wouldn’t go to any other chippy!
Ordered a donna kebab but received a grease kebab, grease poured all over the packaging as well, it is absolutely disgusting they serve food like this. When are you guys going to learn! I'm not going back here and soon others will follow if you don't change your ways.
Do not order from this place my pregnant daughter has just had a chicken burger that is raw in the middle I rang up the man and I wasn't going to complain but he couldn't even apologise when I asked him to come does he want to apologise he said no
The king (cod) has definitely left the building! The fish, chips and mushy peas are the lowest quality I have had in a long while. It wasn’t that expensive so that got them an extra star. Edible, but only just!!
Highly recommend this chippy, never been dissapointed in 3 years since we moved to the area. Great fresh made pizzas, Good quality kebab meats and they do the all important battered chips (and plain if you're into that sort of thing...)
Been here a few times and alwayd just about average. The last time was the worst take out I have had from anywhere in a long time. All the kebab meat was dry and black burnt. What went on our pittas should have gone in the bin! The smallest amount of salad was not woth the bother. The male staff in there are so miserable, verging on rude. Always suspicious of 'cash only' businesses too. I won't be going back.
Worst chips I have had in a long time, and I’ve been to a lot of chippys in the midlands. When this place first opened, they had some nice chips, but perhaps they haven’t changed their oil since they first opened? The chips were tough, brown, dried up greasy looking husks that once resembled chips but perhaps have been refried or were from the day or week before! Disgusting, went straight in the bin. We also ordered chicken meat in a pitta, the chicken was hard, tough, lukewarm, some of it cold, rubbery and again looking like yesterdays meat. Salad was ok. The mushy peas were so intensely bright green I suspected that they may be radioactive. They delivered within 20 mins of ordering however, a full 30 mins before their original estimate, but given how bad the food was Im not surprised they have drivers waiting to deliver this garbage. They need to go back to basics and work hard to bring up their standards, otherwise they wont be in business much longer.
