Held a surprise birthday for my Girlfriend and her family here and I have to say the atmosphere, music, food and drink was exceptional. Great place if you need an exquisite ambience and a good food. I recommend the sea food pasta always. Its also very affordable, paid £190 total for food, drinks and wine for all 9 guests that celebrated with us

This place is a revelation for me. I was really pleased with everything; the location, the welcome, the atmosphere, the service, friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness of the whole entire place including the toilets. Today was my first time to visit Belluccis Restaurant and the place is easy to find right in the heart of the centre of Wakefield. The outside of the restaurant is clearly, visible and beautifully marked, Belluccis, in gold on a green background illuminated at night by golden lamps (You cant miss it). On entering the restaurant there is an elegant reception area separate from the restaurant immaculately designed with welcoming deco. Inside you then enter the spacious restaurant and bar area. The whole area is filled with beautiful and exquisite furniture which looks and feels very luxurious. The friendly staff welcomed me with smiles which made me very happy and I felt very welcome. I was promptly escorted by the waiting staff to my allocated table.. I first ordered their signature Zulu Spear mocktail which I had never had before and my my my, it tasted divine! I was also given a glass of cucumber and lemon infused water which I think was very nice and courteous of the staff at Belluccis. They serve Italian cuisine and I ordered POLLO CREMA, which is a classic dish of tenderised chicken in wild mushroom cream served with rice. I have never eaten such tasty Italian food in my whole life. I like my food to hit the spot all the time I eat, so the quantity of food served to me should be the right quantities or rather more than enough to really fill my boots. :). Oh boy, I was served very generous amount of food and it was actually more than enough to fill my boots. But I still managed to give my plate a clean sweep. The chicken breast was amazingly tender and moist and is so the the best chicken breast I have ever eaten. I had planned to buy a dessert after my main but I was so full that I could not accommodate a dessert. But maybe next time. I will definitely be back to eat at this place with my entire family soon. The restaurant is so suitable if you fancy to treat someone special to some fine Italian dining of family groups or even corporate groups. Please try it and you will thank me later Thank you Belluccis team and management. keep up the good work great service.

Had a fantastic evening. The food was out of this world, the essence of fine dining. The staff paid attention to detail. Always available to assist. The restaurant was very clean as expected of a top classic restaurant. I will definitely be back for more and recommend you go and sample their lovely food, too.

Went here for the lunch time early bird. Two courses for £15.95. I had prawn starter which consisted of 4 prawns and a Diavalo pizza which literally had 1 piece of pepperoni per slice of pizza. I have never seen such a stingy pizza before, it had a very basic base as well, not the quality you would normally expect from an Italian restaurant. When I spoke with management they explained they gave less because it was a special offer. £16.00 this is not cheap for a lunch in Wakefield. Disappointed to say the very least.

Had a lunch booked for 5 people but by the time we were supposed to arrive , our numbers had doubled. Bellucis was so accommodating and managed to accommodate the entire group and took care of us all. The food was AMAZING! half of us couldn’t decide what to order so we ended up ordering different things and shared our meals. It was such a great place to enjoy some quality family time over food. I would highly recommend it if your looking for fine dining in Wakefield.

Very disappointed! As a foodie family, we love to visit good restaurants with GOOD FOOD which hardly find in Wakefield. We were looking forward to visiting this new restaurant in Wakefield, and hoping it could be a good one as their slogan “Italian fine dining restaurant” But unfortunately, there were a few things that we don’t think so. - I had the mussels, it didn’t come with a finger bowl, so I asked for it. The waitress brought it but waited at the table. We asked what are you waiting for? She said the kitchen needs the bowl back to clean and re-use. We were a bit shocked by then. - Garlic bread pizza that we had was so dry, look and taste like frozen pizza and microwave it. My husband is a pizza person, he wasn’t impressed. It didn’t look good like what was served at the other tables. Not sure why? - My daughter didn’t put her knife and fork together because she hasn’t finished her meal, obviously. But we kept having the waitresses (about 4) coming asking to clear the table. That was so annoying. - My seafood pasta was very poor. I’m a seafood lover but as in the photos, this is the poorest quality seafood you could get! I cannot believe this is served in a fine dining restaurant. We got a table at 5.30 but our starters arrive about at 6.45 food was very slow. We did eat everything coz we were hungry. To be fair steaks were nice tho. We paid the bill with no complaints. The restaurant looks lovely but sadly their standard doesn’t meet ours when it comes to “fine dining restaurant”

Newly opened and beautifully decorated Italian restaurant that really adds to the Wakefield restaurant panoply. A lovely atmosphere with friendly. welcoming staff. On one level with excellent accessibility for wheelchair users. We took our neighbours for an evening out and we weren't rushed with our choice of food. It felt like a European meal where you have time to enjoy your food and chat between courses. The food itself was high quality. We had garlic mushroom starters, Spaghetti Bolognese Pizza Calzone and Belucci special pizza. There is a wide variety of dishes on offer. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and it reflects the care that was taken in refurbishing it and the delight in providing an excellent service to customers. The quality combined with competitive pricing means that it's definitely one to try.
