I go every two weeks constantly because the food is really good and reasonably priced but the staff are lovely. They smile, chat and give the place a good atmosphere. I would totally recommend!
Visited for the first time on Saturday tea time while staying with a friend for the weekend, and I was genuinely impressed! The place looked spotless – bright, clean, and really inviting from the moment I walked in. The manager was so friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The food was absolutely fantastic. The fish and chips were perfect – lovely white chunks of fresh cod cooked beautifully. The chicken kebab was delicious, tender, and not at all greasy, and the fresh salad that came with it was crisp and full of flavour. The buttered chips were a real highlight – first time I’ve ever had them, and they were just delicious! A brilliant experience all round – great food, wonderful service, and a spotless place with a lovely atmosphere. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in the area!
Ordered delivery it came piping hot like it was straight out the microwave cover in grease and will leave a film of grease in your mouth and nasty feeling in your stomach. The taste was Shockley bad nothing had any favour. even the sauces didn’t, only aromas of it. But I can say though the mild sauce had no flavour some way but it was very good at being mild heat. SAVE YOUR MONEY DONT GO HERE
This is the second time we have been in the chippy and the have cut the uncooked kebab meat off and cooked it for a few mins on the griddle. Its also the second time its still not cooked and gone directly into the bin. Shall not be visiting again!
Went here today after 3 mini fish & ship specials, as someone previously mentioned you can't seem to get just mini fish and chips and have to have a special that also includes a sausage for £7.50. On explaining we don't eat sausage we were still charged the same and not offered any alternative - I see in the reviews a previous customer was at least offered a scallop and a discounted price which we weren't so that seems unfair. After getting back we were disappointed with the overall standard of food, the chips were chewy rather than fluffy and the batter on the fish seemed oily. I feel like the standard of the food here has dropped. We all ended up leaving 1/3rd to 1/2 of the food. We probably won't be going back and will probably drive further out to our favourite chippy in Stourbridge from now on.

For any kebab lovers out there Kings isn't bad but isn't top drawer either. Limited sauce choice and drown the kebabs in what sauce is available so pitta falls apart pretty quick... gotta say 2nd time I've had a dodgy stomach but probably was the too much sauce more than anything..growing old lol. Will have the fish and chips next time!

Chips and sausage was OK but the mini fish was very bland ,chip paper would have tasted better
