   Now the superior chippy in Rothwell for me after the other seems to have gone massively downhill. Always brilliant here, always cooked fresh for you and portions are absolutely huge. Fish is always in lovely crispy batter and everything is so tasty. Recently added a Chinese menu to the shop too which is an added bonus. Staff are always polite and friendly too.

   The fish and chips were delicious and freshly cooked. Super sized piece of fish which was too much for me to eat so I shared it. Only negative is that the area where customers wait needs a good clean! There is a stainless steel fronted door which opens into the area behind the counter which is very dirty. If the owners were to enter via the customers entrance and take a good look, they would see areas for improvement. Such a shame as the food was so good!

   only been twice as only moved in the area, but its fantastic to see a chippy open late these days, anyway about the food, the fish is fresh to order and good size as well all cooked good with great batter, curry sauce although on the thick side is still nice, chips or ok and nothing really special about them. but overall yes i will keep going.

   The large fish was really nice and was large. We have had better chips but overall meal was nice with thick curry sauce after a long day out. Also no other chippys were open on a Sunday for miles, this one takes card payment too.
