Always good food. Table service by friendly staff who return to ask if everything ok. Would recommend this as a happy place. Go on a regular basis.

Had lunch today with my friend Lynne, dined here and other Brewers Faye establishments over many years. Today was exceptional, We both ordered the poached Salmon prawns , Asparagus, crushed garlic potatoes in a Prosecco sauce, absolutely delicious. Thank you to Mark and all the staff for service and laughter Merry Christmas to you all.

Called at the King William and was met with a warm welcome from Mark the manager who was working behind the bar. With his usual charm he served us with our drinks and took our orders for food. When our food arrived it looked and tasted very good as usual. Another good meal on this occasion.

Booked a table, when myself and my daughter arrived we was welcomed and shown to our table. Asked if we wanted anything to drink. We browsed through the menu, ordered. We both enjoyed our meal. The staff were polite and helpful

I had the Sunday carvery at King William IV and it was absolutely fantastic. The food was lovely, perfectly cooked meats, delicious roast potatoes, and all the classic trimmings done just right. Everything was fresh, hot, and full of flavour. The staff were really helpful and friendly, making the whole experience even better. It had a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. It was ideal for a Sunday meal with family. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a great value and tasty carvery. We will be returning!

Nice visit as always. Sunday carvery was good standard particularly enjoyed the mash, carrots and parsnips. After eight sundae was a real treat. Staff busy but polite and attentive as usual.

Just been for dinner. Over 1 hour waiting for food that came out warm, not hot. Got told that they're understaffed which is why the service was slow and poor. Not my problem. £40 wasted. Me and the family won't be coming back. Plus another annoying point. The WiFi doesn't work. Not ideal when there's no phone signal in the area.

Booked a table for 1pm, notice on door said short staffed. Took order at 1.10pm and told 40 min wait, may be shorter. Hence 1 star for honesty. 2pm asked a male member of staff if order coming he returned saying maybe another 10 min but not sure seemed to find it all amusing! 2.15pm no food, asked another member of staff who returned saying not sure. The majority of staff really worked hard in very difficult circumstances, but our party did not find it amusing. No comment on food as requested and given a refund, which was dealt with quickly.

I had the carvery which is available on Sundays from 12pm to around 4 pm.. it's £9.99.. and excellent value.. there's a choice of three meats, Yorkshire pudding and a wide variety of vegetables and roast potatoes, layonnaise , dourphinose potatoes. Cauliflower cheese. Macaroni cheese. Parsnips carrots peas stuffing and gravy.. it's very good value for money.

Food was horrible! Beer was warm..... I had a chicken dinner, asked for no cabbage, it came with cabbage. Told them I didn't order it with that, took it back. Came back told me there was a problem, bought it back out looked brill. Everything was cold apart from the chicken. I then find something in my potatoes, which were very hard (advertised as roast potatoes) they were new potatoes cut in half and boiled! And a massive lump fell out the bottom of the kept warm gravy, that's advertised as a jug and i think ive had more liquid in measure of double southern comfort than this JUG had in it! Definitely not be returning
