   It was an absolute delight from start to finish. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, the staff and manager Yash were incredibly attentive and inviting and make us feel truly welcomed. I have been to many Michelin restaurants in London and Daastan was truly exceptional and better than any Michelin restaurant’s in London. The food was exceptional, every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavors. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and that chef puts real passion into every plate. I especially loved the amritsari fish, lamb chops, chilli chicken and Bhindi. Overall great experience. It’s a must visit restaurant and I will be definitely returning soon!!

   Been a good few times and always had friendly service, very very good food and thoroughly enjoyed it. It’s clean and always felt a step above a standard Indian restaurant albeit with a price tag to match, but still feels worth it. I class it as a very welcome and needed addition to adel which was lacking a decent restaurant for years. Parking is easy round the back but on street nearby is easy too. Dietary requirements seem to be catered for nicely too.

   Had a good family dinner for fathers day here , was given a table on first floor, which was kind of aloof, so service was slow. Food was not so great , starters were really good, but the chicken dish in mains were a bit short on authentic Indian taste. shocking to see the very small portion sizes in the thali, as it is fixed quantity as well, some people might still feel hungry and it costs 20 GBP. i suggest they either add one more dish or allow one more serving on any one dish in thali for this price .

   Really nice interior, great food, great drinks! The restaurant is very modern and the staff are friendly and attentive. The drinks were great, we tried a few cocktails. In particular all the drinks with mango were amazing, mango margarita wasn't too sweet which is the way I like it. Curries are complex and rich, and the starters are great.

   Where do I start. I held my husband’s 50th Birthday party at Dastaan Leeds. The party was held in the venue upstairs and we were around 50 people. From the first meeting to the event on the day everything was done with such professional pride. Through the complete planning to finish the Dastaan team were extremely supportive. A very big Thank you to Chef Kailash who gave us such a delicious, mouthwatering spread. The food reminded us of home back in India. Bursting full of tastes, smells and aromas walking through streets of Old Delhi. The mutton curry, Butter chicken, Dal Makhani, Kebabs, Amritsari fish, Paneer and more were instant hits with everyone. And your Gajar Ka Halwa ( carrot halwa) was so beautifully made , just how my mom makes. Amazing food. And you took the time to come up and say hello to my family visiting which was such a lovely gesture. Thank you once again. To the team helping us with the guests that evening - Dear Yash, Praveen, Akshit and Ayush, and another lovely lady staff member, THANK YOU. You guys are amazing! I had to think of something and you were a step ahead already on it. No glass was empty, welcome drinks were perfectly chilled and served, the starters and mains were piping hot and replenished. All guests were so well cared for. The cocktails and shots were a hit! You were on your toes. When you guys said you are our Dastaan family you surely took care of us like your family. Lastly and most importantly a big thank you to the person who put it all together. Dear Tarun, can’t Thank you enough. The party was perfect and more fun than I could ever imagine. The birthday boy felt very special and memories were made to last a lifetime. You are amazing and am sure Dastaan Leeds will thrive under your management. See you all very soon. Thanks again, Preeti

   Where do I start. From start to finish the experience was amazing. Me and my club Headingley Bramhope CC we visited here on 6th of Jan and I must say the hospitality and the vibe was amazing. The guys really know how to look after their customers. The food was amazing too. Since this is closer to our cricket club, we will be using now more often on match days plus we will see how else we can promote this amazing place. Thanks Tarun and team. Vish

   It will be for some people, but just not for me. I commend them for what they are trying to do. Basically, if you are after a high-quality curry house, this isn't it. It's more of a high-end restaurant feel with a little twist. What I ate was nice, but too expensive. The waiting area certainly didn't warrant the price. Don't let this review put you off.    We came here after we heard alot about dishes. Dastaan is located in Adel and it offers some limited car parking spaces Pros good drinks I particularly liked the starters and the lamb chops were simply amazing, Well cooked and perfectly seasoned. The cocktails drinks were also made well and service was quick. Con's the vinderloo dish was very mild, infact it was milder than our other curries and the Naan portion sizes were small. All in all we enjoyed our visit and would recommend if craving a quality indian restaurant.
