Over priced, shocking portions. A regular portion of chips was no more than a handful so I dread to think what a small is. £8 for a fish sandwich and a portion of chips, never again!
I had a particular request to obtain a decent number of fishcakes which were to be delivered by myself to the north of Scotland. Tingley Bar Fisheries accommodated my request perfectly and had everything prepared and packed for me when I came to pick them up. They were well received up North. Great food and great service.
Paid 4.20 for two regulars and this is what I receive......... Absolutely shocking portion size!!!! Never going back here again.
Following the takeover, they've expanded the menu with a variety of foods such as toasties, baked potatoes and pizzas you wouldn't normally get at a chippy so I decided to try it out. The margherita was delicious and freshly prepared in the pizza oven in front of me. Staff are friendly and I'll be here again to try more from the new menu.
I live in the midlands but work around the country, i drove through Leeds and noticed this place a while ago, gave them a try. BEST CHIP SHOP IN THE COUNTRY. Whenever I'm driving near or through now i always go in. I urge you to try. Everything cookes fresh for you and to order.
