   0 STARS! After seeing the YouTube video of Desi Jatt, I went to Sheesh Mahal with my family all the way from Oldham. Firstly there is no parking whatsoever and had to park 3 blocks away and ended up getting a parket ticket which Sheesh Mahal were not willing to reimburse. On arrival, we had to wait over 45 minutes for a table that we BOOKED! We were told to wait outside in the cold as they were ‘busy’. We went upstairs and the place is tiny. Literally 4 or 5 tables that were full of filth. Eaten botis all over the seats and seekh kebabs were on the floor getting squashed by our shoes. You can see the kitchen from where you eat and the chef is a man with dreadlocks who doesn’t have his hair covered and all his hair falls in the food. The hygiene in this place is -10 Waiter doesn’t communicate with you at all and we had to wait 40 minutes for our food. The food was abysmal and the service was shocking. The food was undercooked and had dreadlock hair that was fried by the tawa. It was disgusting. We complained and the waiter was argumentative and offered no help. The manager got involved and offered us complimentary tea but we had to have it downstairs near the entrance which was FREEZING COLD. Worst ‘restaurant’ I’ve ever been to in my life!.

   I'd give 0 stars if possible. We tried calling them before setting off from Bradford however they weren't answering after countless tries. We tried contacting the other branch and they promised that we can just walk in as usual. When I asked about why they were not answering, I was told by the other branch that they will be 'busy' and just walk in as normal. However after a 45 minute drive, firstly there was very little parking and after we went inside we were turned away by the owner/manager saying that they were fully booked. I explained the situation on how the other branch provided me with false information. He even said that he was not answering the phone because they were fully booked! What sort of customer service is this? I then had to leave with my hungry family back all the way to Bradford! We called the other branch and spoke to the owner this time and he said that they aren't a part of our branch when the owner from Dewsbury said they are. AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS, ONLY RUNNING BECAUSE OF THE CURRENT OFFER!

   Arrived on time 10min before booking time waited over half an hour to finally get a table. Was given a table for 4 there was 6 of us, table wasen't even cleared and we was told to sit in someone else's mess. One of the waiters kept spitting blood in a tissue whilst i was talking to him. Ended up walking out of there. Disgusting place and atmosphere to take your family. Experience ill never forget. Not recommended at all stay away.

1. Right Choice ★★★★☆

   Very polite and welcoming atmosphere, children loved the food so did I, but could have done with a little more spice and the grilled meat little more charred hence 4 stars. That doesn't mean I wont be going back!!! I do recommend the tawa as that's what we had, generous portions and lovely food. Thank you
