   Lovely food, beef burger was delicious with really fresh salad. Battered sausage, fish cake and baby fish with large chips, excellent value, quick delivery to our lodge at Clumber Park. Will definitely order again when we return in March.

   Was staying in the area and fancied some fish and chips. The cod was nice and chunky, crispy batter (gluten free option), good size portion of chips, mushy peas, salad and onion rings (gluten free option). It was reasonably priced and good sized portions. Really tasted good, polite staff and immaculately clean. Would happily recommend.

   Best fish n chip shop in worksop. Used them a number of times, also eaten from the others a number of times so i feel i can make a fair comparison. Ordered on a friday night at 7pm, i was expecting a long delivery time because of this. It arrived in 30 mins, which is a good time for friday fish n chips. Chips are good, not greasy. Haddock is nice, flaky fish, crispy batter. Its always the same every time i order, consistency is there. Very good value for money, i didnt even plate up all of the chips(regular size). I have a big appetite and think a small may suffice. Could easily share a regular between two people.

   The staff was friendly and helpful so 5* there. However, the food was not as good as I would expect based on the rating. The chips weren't fresh and seemed to be refried. The fish wasn't faring much better - there were big chunks of soggy batter around the fish.

   We called in as we had a hankering for some fish & chips on our way back "down south" and Catch 44 seemed to be the place to go. Firstly, the staff were very friendly and recommended a meal deal to order. I always forget portion sizes once you're away from the south are kind of larger than you'd expect, bit this is always most welcome! The chips were perfectly cooked and tasted fantastic, the fish was crumbly with a great batter and wasn't greasy at all. I also ordered onion rings, which came as an utter surprise! Huge, and perfectly battered "real" onion rings. All in all, a fantastic experience and will visit again if passing.

   Got fish and chips with curry sauce and it was absolutely unreal. Fish was thick, white and super tasty. Every last chip was crunchy on the outside and creamy in the inside and the sauce was beautiful. The 2 guys and the lady in the shop were super friendly and made the experience that bit better. Can't wait to come back again!

   Visited on Monday, just after mid day, and everything was great. Building was clean and presentable and food was great. I've made this place my new regular chippy recently for the value and great food portions for the prices. A lovely lady had taken my order and the chef was friendly too, they always have a chat and are smiling. Recommend this place to everyone I know! :)
