Only popped in as 1 of my kids wanted a battered sausage thats it and the other 1 was poorly and didn't want anything the staff member who served me went above and beyond to make sure my poorly child was alright and if he was sure he didn't want anything even offered another battered sausage on the house for him but he didn't want it. Now this is taking care of the community I will always bring my business here from now on food is absolutely delicious aswell

Really great fish and chips! The lady who served us today was super friendly and clearly cared about quality freshly cooked fish to order β you could taste it in the food, which was cooked to perfection.

Friendly welcome and freshly fried fish. Enjoyed the Fish Special w M Peas and added a potato scallop which looked lovely. Note that I had eaten half the scallop before taking the photo, was supposed to be just quick bite to taste, but couldn't stop at one bite. Certainly recommend and would happily return. Nice sunny day, so I took my meal up to the small park 100 yards away. VERY TASTY, almost forgot the nice cold can of Dandelion & Burdock topped it off. Parking outside was easy even in my Motorhome.

7 Seas Fish Bar. Cod, chips, peas and gravey. All large, total Β£13.90, feeds 2 easily. Fish was nice and white, chips cooked to perfection, no hard bits. Fish was cooked to order, nice light crispy batter, golden colour, everything came piping hot. Staff were very good, some are new but you can see the owner is helping them along to increase their experience. Well presented, all in matching uniforms. The owner was busy busy busy, doing a great job and still making sure the customer was happy. Cant credit the staff enough. The venue was nice and clean, recently taken over and updated, has a nice modern feel to a traditional style chippy. Steady stream of customers came in while I was there all odering Fish n Chips, definitely some repeat customers as they had the reusable bags from previous visits. Give this place a go, I heard a lot of people saying good things about the place and I wasn't disappointed. Give this review a thumbs up if you think it would help others.

I dont know who is leaving good reviews for this place. Just plain bad in every way. Smallest piece of fish wrapped in the thinnest pale and Anemic looking batter. Which is a soggy and sad mess once salt and vinegar added and its out of the paper. Tired dry chips and tasteless pale peas. You only need look at it on your plate to know its bad. I wont be going backβ¦ever. I wont sugar coat it eitherβ¦This place needs to step its game up in a big way or close up and let someone who cares have a go. Definitively the worst chip shop dinner ive had in twenty years by a mile. And if a counter claim to this end of abject denial of the facts is on the cards for me, well feel free to continue as you are and stare out the empty shop window with a trickle of customers. Its your choice. I know i wont be one.

Visited the takeaway yesterday and bought x2 fish, chips, peas and gravy. I found the food to be nice but over priced, just over Β£20, the fish was meant to be large but when got it home seemed to be not much bigger than a small fish and very thin as though it had been cut in half. Had to repeat my order to the lady behind tge counter four times before she got it right. Would I order from here again no too expensive
