So much pride goes into their service that this branch tastes superior to all others in Yorkshire. Always smiles and laughs. I always have the pleasure of meeting awsome people from different walks of life.
Food was standard. Staff were rude and unpleasant, more importantly the hygiene of the overall store was disgusting, food all over the floor, split drinks stains, just disgusting. Stay away.
⭐ 1/5 Review – Subway Ravensthorpe It’s disappointing to say this, but the service at this branch has been consistently poor. The staff always seem upset or annoyed, which is honestly worrying. There’s no friendliness or welcome when you walk in, even when the shop is completely empty. The food quality also needs attention. On my recent visit, the lettuce was right at the bottom of the container and clearly past its best. When I politely mentioned it, the staff didn’t seem interested at all. A simple acknowledgment or solution would have gone a long way. What makes this more surprising is that other Subway branches in the Dewsbury area are excellent — friendly staff, good service, and fresh produce. So it’s definitely possible. On a positive note, this branch is Halal, which is appreciated. I genuinely want this place to do better, because the potential is there. I hope management look into staff training and overall customer service. People are spending their money — they shouldn’t feel uncomfortable or unwelcome for simply ordering a sandwich.

Absolutely disgusting customer service provided by staff at this store, visited with my kids and was advised coupon was not acceptable (despite the store address visible on coupon) very unprofessional and showed no courtesy or professionalism. The staff member was very rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend this store to anyone. Very disappointed. Will think twice before coming here again.
A consistent problem here is that majority of times they don’t change their gloves. If you’re a vegan you shouldn’t have to be ensuring the customer in front of you hasn’t ordered chicken or anything non vegetarian in their order and you should’t have to teach them to do their own job. It’s a bit of courtesy to be considerate. For a veggie Delite they had the price £2.79 before prices went up. It then went to £3.19 and they stopped including the free little bag and that was an additional 10p taking it to £3.29 and now in the last few weeks the total is £3.39 including the bag. All in a span of 6 months. I understand prices are going up but this is very poor value for money for someone who only gets about 3 or 4 things put inside the Veggie Delite. By October/April this will easily shoot up more probably to £3.59 or £3.79. Outside of this I have noticed that they don’t listen properly when paying. I have sometimes asked to “pay by card” however they have somehow interpreted this as “using my sub points”. In terms of presentation sometimes they will pack it up tightly with a sticker to keep the paper wrapped around the sub other times it will just be dumped and they won’t bother to keep it sealed together with a sticker.
Food was okay,Nothing great but not terrible just standard. The problem was we had to stop here to feed our baby and I've never seen a high chair so dirty. Looks like it hadn't been cleaned in weeks. Not very safe when babys eat their hands after touching all this mess. I would advise staying away if you need to use highchairs
Went today, gentleman behind the counter preparing my sandwich was polite enough. However, I was served a sandwich on stale bread. The veg was wilted and part of the tomatoes put in the sandwich we’re frozen. It ended up in the bin.
Always great service from pleasant and friendly staff at this branch ... food is spot on!
