   I'm a wagon driver looked for fish and chips found this place i red reviews some good some bad so I tried it my chips was hot and cooked sausage in front ov me lady who served me was very helpful and polite would definitely go back there if I was in the area again

   Top quality Chippie in the centre of Cleck, often pop-in for a fish-buttie (with a few chips) during my lunch break. Cards or cash taken. As an added bonus, if I have my dog with me, they'll even allow me to bring him in whilst I get served so I don't have to leave him tied up outside.

   After seeing the positive reviews i decided to give Skippers a try. The lady who served me was very friendly and polite and there was a nice atmosphere inside. When I got home both myself and my husband were extremely disappointed with the food, the fish just didn't taste right, it seemed watery and had a strong flavour that wasn't very nice, so much so we threw both portions of fish and chips away. It was disappointing as I'd been looking forward to trying this fish and chip shop but the food was awful,.. I've given 2 stars as the lady was very polite but the food wasn't worth 1 star.
