   Usually very nice but today. Must admit don't usually come so close to opening time.the fish, what little there was, inside a thick layer of batter that tasted as if left from lunch or previous opening time, not only reheated but very dry. Not thick and juicy. The end was brittle with nothing for at least an inch . Then the remainder very thin fish not chunky anywhere. Totally disappointing and had to leave it. Chips ok some a bit hard, but portion size good. £19.50 incl peas, dear for sub standard.

   Absolutely fantastic food- Traditional standards and superb quality control. 'Really nice people, too. All round fantastic Fish and Chips. My parent are in their 90's and owned Fish and Chip Shops for years and they swear by them. We won't go anywhere else!

   Amazing Fish and chips. I came across McKinley's by chance. Id been driving round from Holmfield looking for a chippy that was open. My last shot was Queensbury and came across this beauty. Friendly, polite staff, lovely and clean shop. The fish n chips were beautiful but omg I'm stuffed lol. Definitely our new go to chippy....

   Without doubt, the BEST chip shop in Yorkshire. Quality of food is absolutely top notch. Owners Scott & Helen are brilliant. Welcoming and extremely friendly. Drove all the way from Lincoln and was not disappointed. Please open up near us!!!!

   Chapel Street Chippy Queensbury. Fish Special : 22 miles : 50 minutes to get there. Big fish, had to break it to fit in the box, also threw in a dozen chips. Best Fish N Chips I’ve ever had. 5/11/2024 Just been back again today, it's still the best Fisn N Chips ever...

   Food is average. The issue I have is the customers dumping their vehicles outside my house! I live on a private road and keep being faced with not being able to park outside my house! Not my problem there's no parking outside your shop. Tell your customers to use the parking on chapel street!

   I have eaten at Fish and Chip shops all over the UK. They don't supply cod here, but the batter and Haddock and chips is superb! As is the sevice. Price is reasonable too. Odd opening times but hey who cares. Worth the wait. Wouldn't go anywhere else in the old mill village!
