   NOW CALLED WEBSTERS FISH AND CHIPS Very good fish n chips served here. Called in on the way home to purchase fish n chips for the kids. £4.30 for this is amazing value. Just the right amount. Service is spot on and very friendly. HIGHLY RECOMMEND 5*

   Not impressed at all seen as it cost nearly £8 for a fish butty......the batter on the fish was so thick and stodgey and raw! Not nice and inedible.

   I bought a special and chips along with a couple of chip butties and the special I can only describe as a whale! It was massive, crispy batter and soft cooked just right fish inside! I will be getting this again!! I love finding places like this to eat from!

   Used to love this chip shop however it has gone downhill. Chips are so undercooked and greasy, also got peas which were so dried out. Won’t be returning. Such a shame it used to be lovely with pleasant people running it.

   We used to love Jack's, it was a fantastic fish and chip shop, and we used to get food from here often. Since the new owners took over, we've been continously disappointed with the quality of the fish and chips. Lukewarm, over-cooked, tiny portions and 25% more expensive. We tried again this evening after several months of avoiding the place (in the vain hope that it might have improved), and we were disappointed once again. We wont be back.
