   Wow!! What absolutely delicious food. I used to be a massive Chinese food fan, but over the last 5 yrs I have constantly been disappointed with the Chinese food I've ordered from various take a aways!! To the extent that for the last couple of years I had totally gone off Chinese food altogether. I had been recommended Canton House several times but wasn't sure if to chance it. Well last night I decided to bite the bullet and ordered a meal for delivery. Thank you Canton house, you have reignited my love of Chinese food. It was all cooked to perfection and the meat within the meal was so tasty and tender. I 100% recommend Canton House.

   Canton House harks back to an era of old school Chinese Chippies. The gravy is dark, almost black, with a very nice flavour, which gets thicker as it cools. You simply can't beat it. The food is always cooked fresh, and both the English and Chinese dishes are superb. Elle who runs it, also operates the Foodaholic Chinese takeaway in Openshaw and you can tell. The quality of the food is the same across both sites and the value for money is unbearable. Absolutely top notch.

   Stopped at lunchtime and loved the fact it had inside seating. Lunchtime menu has lots of choice and big portions. Super friendly staff.

   Just had lunch, food and service was great, ordered mostly prawn dishes but one deep fried chicken too, salt and pepper chips were solid and good portion sizes. Guy at the counter was very friendly and helpful in putting tables together for us as we had a toddler. Highly recommend
