New to the area and struggled to find a chinese i like. It's been hard to find a chinese that can cook vermicelli and it was bang on definitely not disappointed Ordered with no veg. And it was crammed with meat and large prawns. Definitely recommend ordering from here
Ordered from here on the 3rd of october the staff was quite rude simply just placed my order on counter and went and answered a call, Not going to lie the food was tasteless the plain chow main was drowned in soy sauce so destroyed the taste. Portion sizes are very small I do not know where it went wrong with my order or the service but i will not order again.

Ordered mushroom chop suey,vegetable fried rice and spring rolls,the vegetables in the chop suey (carrot were raw and rock hard which concerns me as the bean sprouts need to be cooked properly,the onions in the fried rice were raw also, I have to say that I have ordered from Happy house many times and this is the first time I’ve had this problem but I’m really disappointed with the how undercooked it is, I write this as I’m eating it as I’m so hungry,the spring rolls are ok but too much moisture inside, could’ve been prepared with more care and attention as it’s very easy to get food poisoning.
Ordered chicken omelette and chips, came with peas and onions, it didn't state this when ordering. Autistic son would not entertain. I called to complain and she said I should have stated in comments box no peas and onions, how can I state this when I didn't know it came with it. Not helpful at all wo t be using again
Fast delivery, but the food was awful. There are 3 of us and not one could eat their meal. It was utterly disgusting. I was actually physically sick. We all had chicken, chicken curry, chicken chow mein and sweet and sour chicken balls. It wasn't cooked correctly, tasted spongy and smelled of fish. Some pieces still bloody. We will definitely not be ordering from here again!
Can't fault the food. So tasty. I order once a week. Love their capital spare ribs and Cantonese sweet and sour pork. Chow mein is amazing too
I tried the happy house for the first (and last time) a couple of weeks ago. The food was dreadful, completely tasteless, and very greasy. I had BBQ spare ribs, the sauce was purple (not a BBQ brown) and it was extremely watery, no taste whatsoever and you could see the grease floating on top of the purple watery liquid. I also had beef with mushrooms, the beef was so tough I could have resoled my shoes with it, the mushrooms were raw, and once again it was completely tasteless. I had egg fried rice with my beef dish, the rice was stuck together in one big lump and also tasteless. All in all a dreadful experience, I’ll not be using the happy house anymore!
Friendly boss man and lovely salt and pepper mushroom and udon! Very big portion and free prawn cracker as well! Recommend!
